Youth Union
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, commonly known as “the Youth Union”, is a socio-political organization of Vietnamese youth. It was founded, led, and nurtured by the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.
The Vietnam Aviation Academy (formerly known as the Vietnam Aviation School) was established on March 24, 1979. Over more than 40 years of development, the Academy has maintained its position as a key national institution and one of the country’s leading centers for training human resources for the aviation sector.
Along with the Academy’s growth, and under the dedicated guidance of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, the Youth Union of the Vietnam Aviation Academy has continuously grown stronger and more mature, and is recognized as one of the units with outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements.
Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam Aviation Academy is one of the pioneering and leading units in Youth Union activities under the Youth Union of the Ministry of Transport (now under the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction).

Fulfilling the Core Functions and Responsibilities of the Youth Union
In carrying out the vital functions and responsibilities of the Youth Union organization — under the close, direct, and comprehensive leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the superior Youth Union — the Youth Union of the Vietnam Aviation Academy has always identified its mission as being the extended arm of the Party in actively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of its members.
The Union strives to build a positive environment for learning, training, and personal development, acting as both a companion and a bridge between students and the Academy. It also works in close coordination with other mass organizations within the Academy to promote effective youth activities and contribute to the strengthening of the Party.
Through these efforts, students are encouraged to cultivate revolutionary ethics, strengthen their political will, develop their character, and take the lead in activities that contribute to the growth of the Academy, the community, and the nation.
Promoting Activeness, Proactiveness, and Creativity among Youth Union Members
Promoting the activeness, initiative, and creativity of Youth Union members, together with the close coordination of mass organizations, plays a vital role in organizing Youth Union activities and youth movements to successfully fulfill the unit’s political missions.
Youth Union members are encouraged to be self-motivated and proactive in studying politics, military affairs, culture, science and technology, and professional expertise — continuously improving their overall knowledge, fostering a strong sense of discipline and organization, and remaining ready to take on and successfully accomplish assigned tasks.
