VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY EXPANDS AND STRENGTHENS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE WORMS UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES (GERMANY)
On September 7, 2021, Worms University of Applied Sciences (HS Worms) officially became a strategic partner of the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) in the fields of scientific research development, student exchange programs, cultural exchange, and aviation training projects.
Representatives of VAA and HS Worms signed a cooperation agreement and agreed to become comprehensive and long-term partners. Initially, both parties discussed collaborating on the development of joint online courses between VAA and HS Worms, as well as planning specialized conferences and lectures from professors at other universities. In addition, the student exchange and cultural exchange program for students of both VAA and HS Worms is also being actively promoted and developed.
Regarding the development of a joint training program tailored to the needs of the aviation sector, in addition to the similarities in some course content between VAA and HS Worms’ aviation programs, both parties have agreed to implement programs equivalent to the two fields of “Aviation Management” and “Air Traffic Management (dual)” offered by HS Worms at VAA’s campus. According to the plan, VAA will develop internationalized curricula to integrate with advanced educational systems, enhance the quality of teaching, and develop human resources for the aviation industry in line with international standards.
