TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The Bachelor's Degree Program in International Business is application-oriented, aiming to educate graduates with strong political qualities, professional ethics, and a sense of responsibility toward the community. The program equips students with a solid foundation in economics, society, politics, and law, together with advanced knowledge of international business. Graduates develop professional competencies, critical thinking, analytical, synthetic, and problem-solving skills applicable to international business activities. They are also equipped with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams, effective communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in foreign languages suitable for multicultural working environments. Upon graduation, students are well prepared to pursue careers in international enterprises, joint ventures, corporations, multinational and transnational companies, import–export and logistics firms, management positions in international non-profit and non-governmental organizations, as well as government agencies responsible for the management and formulation of policies in the field of international business.
Equip students with fundamental knowledge of business, economics, and management to support the acquisition of specialized disciplinary knowledge.
Provide advanced knowledge in the fields of international business, international trade, import–export, logistics and global supply chain management, international marketing, investment, and cross-border business cooperation.
Develop the ability to analyze, synthesize, and apply the knowledge acquired throughout the program to professional practice.
Develop the ability to evaluate professional activities and apply scientific and technological advancements to creatively solve complex problems arising in the practice of international business and international trade.
Develop skills in communication, presentation, discussion, and teamwork.

PLO2 / K2: Apply knowledge of import–export operations, transport management, cargo insurance, international payment, supply chain management, and international trade to conduct import–export transactions, ensure customs compliance, coordinate cargo flows, enhance logistics operational efficiency, and optimize supply chain performance in international trade, meeting the job requirements of specialist positions in the fields of import–export, logistics, and supply chain management.
PLO3 / K3: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of procurement management, international trade law, and international risk management to analyze international business activities, ensure compliance with international trade regulations, and promote sustainability throughout global supply chains, meeting the practical job requirements of specialist positions in the fields of import–export, logistics, and supply chain management.
PLO4 / K4: Demonstrate knowledge of consumer behavior, global business strategy, and international marketing to develop business development plans, expand markets, formulate marketing plans tailored to individual international markets, and enhance global brand positioning, meeting the job requirements of international business and international marketing specialist positions.
PLO5 / K5: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of marketing management, digital advertising, and omnichannel marketing to select effective marketing campaigns across international platforms, meeting the practical job requirements of international business and international marketing specialist positions.
PLO6 / K6: Demonstrate knowledge of international trade and investment policies, as well as data analysis and market trend analysis, to identify attractive investment opportunities and develop trade promotion activities aligned with the responsibilities of foreign affairs and trade and investment promotion specialist positions.
PLO7 / K7: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of international trade law, trade finance, tariff policies, and international negotiation to analyze the global business expansion activities of enterprises and organizations, meeting the job requirements of foreign affairs and trade and investment promotion specialist positions.
PLO9 / S2: Demonstrate proficiency in communication and in reading and writing professional documents in English at a level equivalent to B1.
PLO10 / S3: Demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers, fundamental information technology applications, and specialized software for professional purposes.
PLO11 / S4: Demonstrate the ability to analyze and synthesize social, market, and organizational data to develop strategies and formulate annual, medium-term, and long-term organizational development plans.
PLO12 / S5: Demonstrate proficiency in performing import–export operations, cargo coordination, and supply chain optimization (corresponding to K2).
PLO13 / S6: Demonstrate proficiency in procurement negotiation, risk management, and ensuring sustainability in international trade (corresponding to K3).
PLO14 / S7: Demonstrate proficiency in developing business strategies, conducting market research, and implementing international marketing activities (corresponding to K4).
PLO15 / S8: Demonstrate proficiency in brand management, digital advertising, and omnichannel marketing (corresponding to K5).
PLO16 / S9: Demonstrate proficiency in market analysis, trade promotion consulting, and international investment support (corresponding to K6).
PLO17 / S10: Demonstrate proficiency in applying legal principles, trade finance, and international business negotiation (corresponding to K7).
PLO19 / A2: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams; maintain a receptive attitude, with the ability to listen, accept feedback, and make appropriate improvements.
PLO20 / A3: Maintain good physical health, demonstrate the ability to participate in various sports and musical activities, and possess the ability to protect oneself and assist others when necessary.
PLO21 / A4: Demonstrate a positive lifestyle, a spirit of solidarity, and dedication to the community; uphold exemplary ethics and professional conduct; show patriotism, compassion for the people, and loyalty to the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
PLO22 / A5: Demonstrate self-confidence, proactively keep up to date with digital technologies, and present, deliver presentations, and report on issues in a logical, coherent, and well-structured manner before an audience.
PLO23 / A6: Demonstrate the ability to organize disaster prevention and response, and fire prevention and firefighting activities within the workplace and local community, and possess the ability to protect oneself and assist others in emergency situations.
