ENTERPRISE RECRUITS DIRECTLY ON CAMPUS: NEARLY 500 VAA STUDENTS CONNECT WITH VIETRAVEL AIRLINES
Without waiting until graduation day, students at the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) had the opportunity to meet directly with recruiters, gain authentic industry insights, and participate in direct interviews with Vietravel Airlines right on campus.

The event attracted nearly 500 VAA students.
On the morning of June 25, the Vietnam Aviation Academy, in collaboration with Vietravel Airlines, organized the 2026 Flight Attendant Career Orientation and Recruitment Workshop, drawing the participation of nearly 500 students.
The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu – Vice President of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, departmental heads, and faculty members. Representing Vietravel Airlines was Mr. Lam Quang Tien – Head of the In-flight Services Division, alongside members of the airline’s cabin crew team.
Delivering his remarks at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu emphasized that the Academy consistently identifies enterprise partnerships as a key pillar of applied education. The direct involvement of airlines in career orientation and recruitment on campus not only helps students gain clear insights into professional expectations, but also unlocks employment opportunities while they are still in school.

He added that the Academy will continue expanding partnerships with domestic and international airlines, corporations, and organizations to create more internships, practical work experiences, and direct employment pathways—narrowing the gap between academic training and labor market demands.
At the workshop, Mr. Lam Quang Tien and the Vietravel Airlines cabin crew provided realistic perspectives on the flight attendant profession, discussing workplace dynamics, recruitment criteria, career progression roadmaps, and essential skills required to conquer the skies.

A major highlight of the event was the on-site recruitment interview session, which offered students direct access to airline recruiters, allowing them to demonstrate their competencies and seize career opportunities on campus.
Far more than a conventional career workshop, the program reflects VAA’s strategic commitment to enterprise-aligned education. At VAA, students gain not only specialized theoretical expertise but also practical industry engagement, ensuring they are well-prepared to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation.

The direct recruitment interviews serve as a major highlight, enabling students to showcase their abilities and secure job opportunities right at the Academy.
From the lecture hall to the aircraft cabin, the journey often begins with a single opportunity—and VAA continues to bring those opportunities closer to its students every day.
