Bringing Recruitment to the Classroom: Nearly 500 VAA Students Meet with Vietravel Airlines
Students at the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) do not have to wait until graduation to begin their careers. They have the opportunity to meet recruiters face-to-face, hear real-world industry insights, and participate in on-campus interviews with Vietravel Airlines—all while still pursuing their studies.

The event attracted nearly 500 VAA students.
On the morning of June 25, the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA), in collaboration with Vietravel Airlines, hosted the 2026 Cabin Crew Career Orientation and Recruitment Seminar, drawing nearly 500 students eager to explore career opportunities in the aviation industry.
The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Cổ Tấn Anh Vũ, Vice Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, along with the Academy’s leadership and faculty members. Representing Vietravel Airlines were Mr. Lâm Quang Tiến, Head of Cabin Crew, and members of the airline’s cabin crew team.
In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Cổ Tấn Anh Vũ emphasized that industry engagement is one of the key pillars of VAA’s practice-oriented education strategy. He noted that having airlines directly participate in on-campus career orientation and recruitment not only helps students gain a clear understanding of professional expectations but also creates valuable employment opportunities while they are still pursuing their studies.

He also affirmed that the Academy will continue to expand its partnerships with airlines, businesses, and organizations both in Vietnam and abroad, creating more opportunities for internships, industry exposure, and recruitment. These collaborations are expected to further bridge the gap between academic training and the evolving needs of the labor market.
During the seminar, Mr. Lâm Quang Tiến, Head of Cabin Crew at Vietravel Airlines, together with the airline’s cabin crew team, provided students with valuable first-hand insights into the cabin crew profession. They shared practical experiences about the working environment, recruitment standards, career development pathways, and the essential skills required to succeed in the aviation industry.

A highlight of the event was the on-campus recruitment interviews, which provided students with the opportunity to meet recruiters face-to-face, demonstrate their potential, and seize career opportunities right at the Academy.
At VAA, the journey from the classroom to the aircraft cabin can begin with a single opportunity. By bringing employers directly to campus, the Academy is making those opportunities more accessible to its students every day.
