VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY HAS SIGNED COOPERATION AGREEMENTS WITH TWO MAJOR TRAVEL COMPANIES AND JOINTLY ORGANIZED A SEMINAR TO LAUNCH FOUR NEW SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Đỗ Tuấn Anh – Director of Vietmark Co., Ltd.; Mr. Nguyễn Dương Trung Hiếu – CEO of Vietourist Holdings JSC, as well as representatives from major companies such as Vietravel, Saigontourist, Rex Hotel, Cholimex, Continental, and other organizations, institutions, and universities, both in person and online.

Vietnam Aviation Academy signed with Vietmark

On the side of Vietnam Aviation Academy, the ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Trần Hoài An – Chairman of the Academy’s Council; Prof. Dr. Hà Nam Khánh Giao – Deputy Director; Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Dũng – Deputy Director; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Công Hoan – Head of the Department of Tourism and Aviation Services; as well as leaders from various departments, faculty members, and students of the Academy.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is valid for three years from the date of signing. The cooperation between the Academy and the two companies will focus on several key areas: implementing programs for visits, internships, and professional training; recruitment; career orientation programs and skill development; utilizing services; collaboration in training and scientific research; scholarship funds and charity funds; promotion, and other forms of cooperation.

The signing of the cooperation agreements with major travel companies not only marks an important milestone in supporting and accompanying students in the Tourism field, but also opens up valuable opportunities for internships and real-life experiences for the Academy’s students. These practical opportunities will help students solidify their professional knowledge and better prepare for their future careers.

Vietnam Aviation Academy signed with Vietourist Holdings

On this occasion, the Department of Tourism and Aviation Services also organized a seminar to develop the learning outcomes and curriculum for undergraduate programs in the following specializations: Travel Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, International Tour Guiding (English), and Aviation Commercial Services Management, all within the field of Tourism and Travel Services Management.

After listening to the draft proposal for launching these new specializations, the discussion session was lively and productive, with valuable feedback and contributions from representatives of government agencies, domestic and international educational institutions, potential employers, and students. Their input helped identify necessary adjustments to the curriculum. The contributions were constructive and supportive, marking an important step toward facilitating the smooth completion of the proposal and ensuring the successful launch of these new programs.

The Department of Tourism and Aviation Services also organized a seminar to develop the learning outcomes and undergraduate curriculum for four specialized programs in the field of tourism

Based on the feedback and suggestions from the participants of the seminar, the Department of Tourism and Aviation Services will make revisions, additions, and propose directions for the development and improvement of the training programs. These programs will aim to meet the established learning outcomes, reflect the vision and mission of the Academy and the department, and, most importantly, ensure that students who complete the curriculum can fully develop their personal potential, meet societal needs, and be ready for international integration.
