The Faculty of Foreign Languages is delighted to welcome Ms. Perci Mattar, a volunteer from Canada, whose presence aims to create a practical English-speaking environment and help students enhance their English skills for both academic and everyday purposes.
From May 5th to June 15th, Perci will accompany students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages during classes and extracurricular activities in the role of teaching assistant. This is a valuable opportunity for students to practice English speaking, engage in cultural exchange, and broaden their understanding of international cultures.
After two weeks of adapting to the Academy’s learning environment, Perci has joined lecturers and students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages in various meaningful activities, such as:
-
Sharing and exchanging with students about Canadian culture
-
Comparing distinctive cultural traits between Vietnam, Canada, and the United States
-
Collaborating with lecturers to provide feedback and improve students’ English speaking skills
-
Guiding students in tasks to develop soft skills, especially research skills
Perci’s enthusiasm, friendliness, and professionalism have contributed to a positive and multicultural learning atmosphere within the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
