Visit and Internship program at Lien Khuong ATC Tower – Opportunity to learn and gain practical experience for students of the Faculty of Aviation Operations
On January 2, 2025, the Faculty of Aviation Operations – Vietnam Aviation Academy organized a tour and internship program at Lien Khuong Air Traffic Control Tower (Da Lat). This is a valuable opportunity for students of the socialization class for Dien Bien airport and Con Son airport, helping them not only improve their professional knowledge but also directly access the professional working environment at one of the important airports of the Vietnam air traffic control system. The program was led by the Head of the delegation, MSc. Ho Thi Vu Hien – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Aviation Operations, and lecturers of the Faculty of Aviation Operations.

The visit and internship program at Lien Khuong Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC Tower) is organized with the aim of providing students with practical experiences, supplementing and updating specialized knowledge from businesses. Students will be introduced to flight control, coordination procedures with other units in the aviation industry, and modern technologies being used at the control tower.
In particular, the students listened to Mr. Nguyen Hai Tinh – Head of Lien Khuong ATC Tower and the Air Traffic Controllers working directly at the station about their daily work, the challenges and strict requirements in air traffic control. This knowledge is not only useful for perfecting professional skills but also helps students better understand the importance of air traffic control in maintaining aviation safety.
