Vietnam Aviation Academy students were equipped with both legal knowledge and practical skills at the 2025 Legal Education Program
On August 7, 2025, at Campus 2, the Vietnam Aviation Academy, in collaboration with the Tan Son Nhat Ward Police, organized the 2025 Legal Awareness Program. The event attracted the participation of numerous faculty members and students. More than just a typical legal education activity, the program served as a “real-life classroom,” equipping students with dual capabilities: solid legal knowledge and practical skills to handle emergency situations right on campus.
The 2025 Legal Awareness Program drew the active participation of a large number of faculty members and students.
The program featured a wide range of practical and up-to-date topics, including: drug prevention, domestic violence awareness, traffic safety, online scam prevention, and—most notably—a fire prevention and rescue drill (PCCC & CNCH) designed for the school environment.
A highlight of the event was the hands-on fire safety simulation, where students were directly guided in using fire extinguishers, responding to smoke and fire scenarios, and safely evacuating the area. For many, it was their very first time holding a fire extinguisher or participating in a real-life emergency drill—something that textbooks or classroom theory alone could never fully convey.
Students received direct instruction on how to use fire extinguishers, respond to smoke and fire situations, and safely evacuate during emergencies.
“We learned how to identify fire hazards right inside our dormitories, gained a better understanding of traffic laws, and—most importantly—learned how to protect ourselves against high-tech scams. These are essential skills that every student should be exposed to early on,” shared a second-year Business Administration student.
In parallel, a rapid Q&A session and interactive mini-games helped students review legal knowledge in a fun and engaging way, while strengthening the connection between the police force and the student community. A representative from the Tan Son Nhat Ward Police stated: “Legal education is not just an obligation—it is our responsibility to stand alongside the younger generation. Collaborating with universities allows us to spread a culture of responsible, law-abiding citizenship throughout the community.”
The quick-fire Q&A session and interactive mini-games allowed students to review legal knowledge in an engaging way, while also fostering a lively, collaborative atmosphere between the police officers and the student body.
With the goal of building a safe, proactive, and modern learning environment—especially as the Academy expands its training programs across key regions nationwide—the program has become a meaningful, human-centered educational activity. It equips students not only with practical knowledge but also with essential life skills that are deeply relevant to their everyday lives.
