With an ever-advancing academic spirit, the student team from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the Vietnam Aviation Academy — including Dương Thị Ngọc Dung, Vũ Thị Hoài Thương, Trần Phúc Thiên, and Lê Thanh Thiên — has excelled in earning a place in the final round of the 2025 Euréka Scientific Research Student Award, in the Social Sciences category.
Vietnam Aviation Academy students make their mark at Euréka 2025

The team’s research project — “Collocational patterns in the sustainability discourse of aviation logistics: A diachronic corpus-based study (2019–2025)” — received high praise for its modern linguistic approach, closely tied to the context of sustainable development in the aviation industry — a distinctive field of the Vietnam Aviation Academy.
This marks the first time the Faculty of Foreign Languages has participated in this prestigious academic competition, representing a significant milestone in the journey of building research capacity among the Academy’s lecturers and students.
Behind this achievement lies the dedicated guidance of Dr. Nguyễn Thị Như Điệp, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, along with the academic supervision of M.A. Nguyễn Phú Đại and M.A. Nguyễn Thu Huyền, who have inspired and nurtured students’ passion for research.
This result follows the proud success of 2024, when students from the Faculty of Business Administration, under the supervision of Dr. Nguyễn Thị Cẩm Lệ, won the Euréka Award, helping to spread the academic spirit across the Academy.
The Faculty of Foreign Languages’ accomplishment this year is not only a well-deserved reward for the collective’s consistent effort but also a testament to the Vietnam Aviation Academy’s aspiration to affirm its academic standing and research capacity on Vietnam’s higher education map.
