VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY SPREADS PATRIOTIC SPIRIT WITH THE “THIEN SU HOI THANH” COMPETITION

On May 19, 2025, the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Business Administration officially launched the academic competition “Thien Su Hoi Thanh” to commemorate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025). This is one of the key activities aimed at educating students throughout the Academy on revolutionary traditions and ideals.

The “Thien Su Hoi Thanh” competition is a knowledge-based playground organized through a combination of online and in-person formats. Its content revolves around themes such as Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, Party history, and various Congresses. The program aims to ignite patriotism, foster beautiful ideals, and enrich students’ knowledge of political history.

Round 1 – Ready: This round took place on the Azota platform starting May 19, 2025, featuring 30 multiple-choice questions. It provided an opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge of national history and cultivate political ideology through an accessible and flexible online competition format.

Round 2 – Shine: The top 40 contestants with the best results advanced to the next round, held at Hall F100 – Campus 2 of Vietnam Aviation Academy. In this round, contestants faced challenges requiring quick reasoning, time pressure, and questions of increasing difficulty. Notably, the “Memory Challenge” sub-round introduced an element of surprise, demanding that contestants listen, remember, and accurately recall information provided by the Organizers. This breakthrough round was where “knowledge warriors” competed to affirm their understanding, adaptability, and strategic thinking when faced with multi-dimensional questions from the Organizers.

More than just an academic playground, “Thien Su Hoi Thanh” is also a journey to cultivate national pride and political prowess among the Academy’s students. Through each round, students not only review their knowledge but also train their critical thinking and reasoning skills – essential tools in the new era.

The “Thien Su Hoi Thanh” competition may have concluded, but the stories of young people carrying a love for history continue. They participated not just to compete, but to find themselves within the flow of national history.
