This morning, October 12, 2025, more than 700 students and trainees of the Vietnam Aviation Academy donned their caps and gowns in a solemn graduation ceremony, marking the end of their academic journey and the beginning of new flight paths in their lives.
Vietnam Aviation Academy: Spreading the Spirit of Resilience and Courage on the Journey of Knowledge
12 October, 2025
The ceremony was attended by the Academy’s Board of Directors, leaders of departments, lecturers, parents, and a large number of graduating students.
In that sacred moment, the speech of Nguyen Tuan Dinh, an English Language major and Valedictorian of the Class of 2025, resonated like a heartfelt message to everyone: “Airplanes are born to fly through clouds and remain steadfast amid turbulence — just like us, students of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, who have learned to stand firm through challenges and soar high in pursuit of our dreams.”
In this graduation round, the Academy recognized and conferred degrees upon more than 700 graduates across master’s, undergraduate, and college levels — including 595 students from the full-time undergraduate program, 24 from the part-time program, and 105 from the college-level program.
Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the new graduates on behalf of the Academy.
In his speech, Dr. Vu emphasized: “In the aviation industry, knowledge is the foundation, but courage and discipline are the wings that help people fly far. I believe that you — the ‘pilots’ of knowledge — will carry forward the aviation spirit on every journey ahead.”
Nguyen Tuan Dinh (English Language major, Valedictorian of 2025) left a strong impression with his inspiring message: “We are not born to avoid turbulence, but to rise resiliently through it.”
The Academy honored and rewarded 103 students who achieved Excellent and Outstanding Graduation Distinctions. Notably, Nguyen Tuan Dinh (English Language major) and Le Hoang Mai Nhi (Air Traffic Management major, graduating in April 2025) were recognized as the Valedictorians of 2025, receiving Certificates of Merit and awards from the Academy for their remarkable academic achievements.
The Academy conferred degrees upon more than 700 new graduates across master’s, undergraduate, and college levels.
As the music began to play during the tribute to teachers and parents, the entire hall fell silent. The new graduates bowed deeply — not only to the devoted lecturers who had guided them through years of study, but also in gratitude to the parents who had quietly supported every step of their journey. From the audience, many eyes glistened with tears as mothers and fathers watched their children, now grown and confident, in their graduation gowns. In that poignant moment, pride and gratitude intertwined, painting a touching portrait of mentorship, parental love, and the beautiful journey of youth coming of age.
