Vietnam Aviation Academy proactively connects and develops high-quality human resources for Long Thanh International Airport and Dong Nai Province
On the afternoon of June 30, 2025, in Bien Hoa, the Department of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai Province, organized a seminar titled “Opportunities and Challenges in Human Resource Training for Socio-Economic Development.”
The seminar attracted the participation of representatives from provincial departments, universities, colleges, vocational education institutions, and businesses in the province and neighboring localities.
Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng shared heartfelt insights on the strategic direction for high-quality human resource training in Đồng Nai Province.
Participating in the seminar, Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng – Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy – delivered a passionate presentation on the long-term vision for training high-quality human resources for Đồng Nai Province. She emphasized that the province holds a significant advantage as an urban-industrial hub, especially with the presence of Long Thanh International Airport – a regional-scale international airport.
According to modern development models, “aerotropolis” cities like Đồng Nai are expected to grow rapidly in both scale and importance, potentially becoming multimodal logistics centers and international hubs for industry and services. In this context, the challenge of securing high-quality human resources will become increasingly complex unless thorough preparations are made now. Most crucially, this preparation must focus on nurturing young talent from within the province itself.
Dr. Hằng stressed the need for specific policies to encourage local students in Đồng Nai to pursue essential and prioritized fields of study—particularly in aviation-related areas such as airport construction and operations, aviation engineering, flight operations management, aviation economics, and aviation services. This will ensure they are well-equipped to compete for future job opportunities at Long Thanh International Airport.
Seminar on “Opportunities and Challenges in Human Resource Training for Socio-Economic Development”
At the seminar, the Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy shared information about a special scholarship program dedicated to students from Đồng Nai, which has been implemented since the 2023–2024 academic year. This meaningful initiative highlights the Academy’s pivotal role in the network of high-quality human resource training for the Southern Key Economic Region—particularly in Đồng Nai, a province undergoing rapid transformation with major national projects like Long Thanh International Airport.
The Academy reaffirmed its commitment to continuous innovation, strengthening ties with industry, and expanding international cooperation in order to develop a workforce that excels both in professional expertise and global integration skills.
The seminar also served as a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas and propose strategic solutions to enhance collaboration among educational institutions, businesses, and government agencies. This joint effort aims to build a well-aligned and effective human resource training ecosystem that meets the sustainable development needs of the province in this new stage of growth.
