VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY APPOINTS TWO NEW ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS

On December 27, Vietnam Aviation Academy officially held the Ceremony to Announce the Appointment of Associate Professors for 2025. The event marked an important milestone in recognizing the dedication and academic contributions of faculty members, while reaffirming the Academy’s commitment to developing high-quality human resources.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Hoai An – Chairman of the Academy Council, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang – President of the Academy, members of the Board of Management, heads of affiliated units, and a large number of staff and lecturers.

Pursuant to Decision No. 2967/QD-HVHK dated December 17, 2025, Vietnam Aviation Academy officially appointed two lecturers to the title of Associate Professor, including:

1. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu – Vice President of the Academy

2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Nhat Vuong – Vice Dean, Faculty of Business Administration

In her remarks, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang congratulated the newly appointed Associate Professors and emphasized that the appointments are a well-deserved recognition of their persistent efforts in teaching, scientific research, and contributions to aviation human resource training

Representing the newly appointed Associate Professors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu expressed sincere gratitude to the Academy’s leadership and functional departments for their continuous support throughout the academic promotion process. He affirmed that this appointment serves not as an endpoint, but as a new starting point for further dedication to education and scientific advancement.

Amid the rapid growth of Vietnam’s aviation industry and increasing demand for highly qualified professionals, the appointment of new Associate Professors not only honors individual academic achievements but also demonstrates the Academy’s strategic vision in building a standardized, specialized, and internationally integrated faculty, thereby enhancing its academic reputation and standing in higher education.
