Vietnam Aviation Academy Announces Results of Associate Professor Appointment Review for 2025
Ho Chi Minh City, December 2, 2025 – Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) has officially publicized the results of the Associate Professor (PGS) appointment review for 2025 via Notice No. 1162/HVHK-TCHC. This event marks a significant milestone in developing the scientific and academic staff, following the State Council for Professors’ decision to recognize those who met the standards for Professor and Associate Professor titles in 2025.
Honoring the Academy’s Two New Associate Professors
Based on the State Council for Professors’ Decision and the conclusion of the VAA’s Associate Professor Appointment Review Council (held on December 1, 2025), the Academy is pleased to announce the two individuals who have been proposed for the title of Associate Professor in 2025:
The Appointment Review Council unanimously approved and proposed the appointment of these two outstanding scholars with an absolute consensus rate: 100% (08 out of 08 votes in favor):
- Assoc. Prof. Co Tan Anh Vu (Vice Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy) has been recognized as meeting the standards for the Associate Professor title in the field of Transportation. This is a worthy acknowledgment of his continuous contributions to the Academy’s core domain

- Assoc. Prof. Bui Nhat Vuong (Vice Head of the Faculty of Business Administration) has been recognized as meeting the standards for the Associate Professor title in the field of Economics. This achievement demonstrates effective research and teaching efforts, contributing to the quality enhancement of economic and management training within the Aviation sector.
