FIATA Program Evaluation between the Faculty of Air Transport Economics and VLI Institute
On September 22, 2025, the Faculty of Air Transport Economics held a working session with the Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute (VLI) as part of the evaluation of the FIATA program—one of the most significant international training programs in the fields of logistics & supply chain management and multimodal transport. This event carried special significance, contributing to the enhancement of training quality, the standardization of academic programs, and reaffirming the Faculty’s commitment to internationalization within its development strategy.
The session welcomed the participation of representatives from both institutions. From the Faculty of Air Transport Economics, Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu—Vice President of the Academy—and Dr. Nguyen Thu Hang—Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Air Transport Economics—were present. Representing VLI was Ms. To Thi Hang—Deputy Director of VLI and FIATA Program Manager. The presence of leaders and experts created an atmosphere of open yet highly professional discussion, underscoring the deep commitment of both parties to educational excellence.

Overview of the evaluation session
During the evaluation, the ATE and VLI focused on a wide range of important topics, including faculty qualifications, student engagement, facilities, training quality, and examinations. All discussions were constructive, aiming toward the shared goal of enhancing the quality of the FIATA program in the coming years.
One of the highlights of the working session was the emphasis on internationalizing the academic program. The implementation and evaluation of the FIATA program not only help strengthen the reputation of the Vietnam Aviation Academy but also provide students with valuable opportunities to access international standards in logistics, supply chain, and multimodal transport.
The FIATA program evaluation concluded in a spirit of cooperation, openness, and mutual respect. The discussions went beyond assessing the current situation, setting forth concrete directions for the program’s development in the next phase.
With the support of VLI, the Faculty of Air Transport Economics reaffirms its commitment to improving training quality, gradually standardizing its programs according to international benchmarks, and creating greater opportunities for both faculty members and students. This collaboration stands as clear evidence of the Vietnam Aviation Academy’s tireless efforts to cultivate high-quality human resources that meet the demands of the economy and the global integration process.
