Teachers and students of Vietnam Aviation Academy develop robots, industrial communication networks, and ultra-intelligent automation systems!
Recently, the Vietnam Aviation Academy held an evaluation session and officially approved three scientific research projects of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering on August 11, 2025. All projects are highly application-oriented, contributing to affirming the quality of training closely linked with research and practice.
1. “Design of a Ball-Balancing Robot System and Replication, Upgrading the Ball-and-Plate Model Based on Image Processing”
Project Leader: Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Chân Thành
* Developed a mathematical model and simulations using PID, LQR, and adaptive PID controllers; oriented towards the development of advanced control algorithms and real-time image processing applications.

2. “Trajectory Tracking Control of a Four-Wheel Omnidirectional Mobile Robot Using an Adaptive Controller”
Project Leader: MSc. Trần Văn Thiện
* Applied fuzzy logic combined with PID to adjust parameters in real time; experimental robot demonstrated more accurate trajectory tracking than traditional PID, reducing position error by up to 25%.
3. “Design of an Experimental Model for CC-Link Industrial Communication Network”
Project Leader: Dr. Trần Quốc Khải
* Completed a laboratory model integrating Mitsubishi PLC and CC-Link modules; the system operated stably with accurate signal transmission, serving effectively in training for the Automation major.
The success of these three projects not only demonstrates the scientific research capacity and creativity of both students and supervising lecturers, but also opens up practical applications in education and modern technology.
