STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES – VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY VISIT LYCEUM OF THE PHILIPPINES UNIVERSITY (LPU)

On September 16, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) had a meaningful study tour at Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) – one of the leading institutions in the fields of tourism and aviation services in the Philippines.

From the moment they arrived at LPU, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the university’s leaders and students with friendly smiles. VAA lecturers and students were introduced to the history of LPU – founded by José P. Laurel, the third President of the Philippines.

An interesting commonality quickly recognized by the students of both institutions was the similarity in uniforms and educational orientations, hinting at the potential for long-term cooperation and exchange in the future.

The first stop of the delegation was the newly renovated canteen and café, where the VAA group had the honor of being the very first guests.

Next, the group visited the spacious library, which left a strong impression with its rainbow-colored bookshelves – a symbol of openness and celebration of diversity. Here, VAA students had the opportunity to interact and converse with their Filipino peers, broadening their understanding of student life and culture.

A highlight of the visit was the introduction to LPU’s modern aviation training facilities, equipped with realistic simulation systems: aircraft seat rows, boarding lounge chairs, and the designated announcement area prior to boarding. This professional training environment provides aviation students with rich, practical experiences.

The trip concluded in a warm atmosphere, as VAA lecturers and students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for LPU’s gracious hospitality. Both sides conveyed their hope for more exchange and collaboration activities in the future, creating opportunities for students to learn, experience, and grow in an international environment.

This event was not merely a visit, but also a testament to the educational vision of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy: encouraging students to step out into the world, strengthen their linguistic and cultural competence, and confidently become global citizens.
