Students are excited to be taught how to write creatively

On the afternoon of November 10, 2023, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy successfully organized a seminar with the theme Creative Writing with the participation of nearly 100 students and teachers of the Academy.

It is known that Dr. Mike Heald was born in England and moved to Australia in 1972 at the age of 12. He earned his PhD at the University of Western Australia and began publishing poetry during that time. He has taught literary studies and creative writing at the University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University and the University of Melbourne.Dr Mike Heald has published 5 collections of poetry, of which the third – Focus on Saturn– has been shortlisted for both the Queensland and Western Australian Premier Awards.
