ORATOR GRAND SLAM 2025 – A JOURNEY TO THE PINNACLE OF PUBLIC SPEAKING
On June 14th, the Grand Finale of the Orator Grand Slam 2025 English Public Speaking Competition concluded in resounding success at Vietnam Aviation Academy, leaving unforgettable emotions and a deep sense of pride among the student community.
Orator Grand Slam 2025 served as a prestigious academic playground for students, where contestants had the opportunity to showcase their confidence, critical thinking, and eloquence in English before a vibrant audience. This year’s competition featured the enthusiastic participation of outstanding teams, representing the energy, intellect, and continuous learning spirit of VAA students.
From the very first rounds, teams demonstrated thorough preparation, professional presentation skills, sharp reasoning, and excellent teamwork. Notably, under the dedicated guidance of experienced mentors, contestants broke through their own limits and confidently competed in each stage.
The final round was a dramatic showdown featuring two main segments: presentations and debates. Teams articulated and defended their viewpoints in fluent English, with well-structured arguments and impressive flexibility in responding to challenging questions. Between the two main segments, a lively interactive game helped contestants relieve stress while also giving them the chance to win attractive prizes from our sponsors, Oxford and Fahasa.
The event was further elevated by the expertise of a distinguished panel of judges—Vietnamese and international lecturers renowned for their experience in English teaching, pronunciation, public speaking, and professional English. Adding to the excitement, the program was emceed by two international volunteers, Ms. Perci Mattar and Ms. Marie Finck, whose presence helped energize the atmosphere and inspire the entire audience throughout the night.
After intense rounds of competition, the Orator Grand Slam 2025 proudly announced its outstanding winners:
