On June 12, 2025, lecturers from the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy achieved outstanding results at the CIRES 2025 International Conference.
At the CIRES 2025 (Conference on Interdisciplinary Research on Environmental, Social, and Governance Strategies for the Sustainable Development Goals), more than 200 delegates from over 70 universities, research institutes, and organizations both in Vietnam and abroad gathered to create a vibrant, multi-dimensional forum with real-world impact.
Out of over 200 research papers submitted to the conference, the organizing committee selected 76 outstanding papers for publication in the proceedings, and only 15 of the best studies were invited for oral presentation across five key thematic sessions. Notably, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy was proud to have three lecturers, Mr. Nguyễn Phú Đại, Ms. Nguyễn Thu Huyền, and Ms. Thái Thạch Thảo, participate with two high-quality research projects that received positive evaluations and recognition from the scientific committee for their practical contributions.

Especially, the paper “Lexical Innovation in Sustainability Education: A Corpus-Based Study of SDG Vocabulary in English Textbooks” was honored with the Best Paper Award—a prestigious recognition for its innovative approach, robust data foundation, and high practical value, contributing to the advancement of education for sustainable development in Vietnam.
This achievement not only marks the effort and talent of the lecturers but also affirms the growing reputation of Vietnam Aviation Academy in the field of interdisciplinary research. It serves as a strong motivation for all lecturers and students to continue their dedication to teaching, scientific research, and international integration.
