FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES PARTICIPATES IN 2026 ADMISSIONS COUNSELING AT NGUYEN THUONG HIEN HIGH SCHOOL

On the morning of March 21, 2026, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) participated in the 2026 Admissions Counseling Program at Nguyen Thuong Hien High School (649 Hoang Van Thu Street, Tan Son Nhat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), attracting a large number of Grade 12 students.

At the event, representatives of the Academy introduced an overview of academic programs in aviation, engineering, economics, and aviation services, while also providing information on admission methods, the learning environment, and career opportunities after graduation.

Alongside the program, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages directly provided consultation at the information booth, introducing key majors including English Language, Korean Language, and Chinese Language. These programs are designed with a strong application-oriented approach, closely linked to aviation, tourism, and commerce, enabling students to develop language proficiency within real professional contexts.

In addition, lecturers offered detailed guidance on admission requirements, subject combinations, and study pathways. Language programs mainly use combinations such as TA01 (Foreign Language – Mathematics – one elective subject) and TA02 (Foreign Language – Literature – one elective subject), in which the Foreign Language subject is given a higher weighting, providing an advantage for students with strong language proficiency.

The consultation atmosphere was dynamic, with many students showing great interest in the programs, actively asking questions and receiving detailed guidance on academic pathways as well as career prospects in the aviation industry—an area with high demand for human resources in the coming years.

Notably, Nguyen Thuong Hien High School is among the 149 high schools eligible for scholarship priority consideration by the Academy, offering valuable financial support opportunities for students with strong academic performance and language proficiency.

The active participation of VAA students also brought practical insights into the learning environment and student life, helping high school students gain a clearer and more relatable understanding of their future academic journey.

The counseling activity at Nguyen Thuong Hien High School reaffirms Vietnam Aviation Academy’s commitment to accompanying students in choosing suitable fields of study and shaping their future careers in an increasingly globalized context.
