The Faculty of Air Transport Economics Implements Preparatory Activities Prior to the Commencement of Semester 2 of the 2025–2026 Academic Year
December 2025 marks a pivotal period in the 2025–2026 academic year, as Semester 1 is gradually coming to an end while preparations for Semester 2 are underway. Fully aware of the role and significance of this transitional phase in ensuring training quality, the Faculty of Air Transport Economics – Vietnam Aviation Academy has proactively and comprehensively implemented a range of preparatory activities for teaching in Semester 2. These activities have been carried out in a serious, scientific, and systematic manner, aiming to ensure consistency and standardization in training, while creating favorable conditions for both lecturers and students as they enter the new semester.
One of the key tasks prioritized by the Faculty of Air Transport Economics in December 2025 is the organization of pre-semester academic briefing lectures for lecturers participating in teaching during Semester 2 of the 2025–2026 academic year. This is an annual activity that plays an important role in enhancing professional quality and ensuring consistency in teaching practices. Through these academic briefings, lecturers present their teaching plans, core course content, instructional methods, as well as newly adjusted elements compared to previous semesters.
The academic briefing sessions are conducted in a serious, open, and highly constructive atmosphere. During these sessions, faculty members exchange ideas and provide feedback on lecture content, pedagogical approaches, and student assessment methods, thereby contributing to the further refinement of teaching plans for each course. This activity not only enhances the professional competence and pedagogical skills of the teaching staff but also promotes consistency and alignment in the implementation of the Faculty’s training programs.
Pre-Semester Academic Exchange – Semester 2 (AY 2025–2026)
In addition, the review of examination materials and course learning outcomes has received special attention from the Faculty of Air Transport Economics during the preparatory phase for Semester 2. Academic departments conduct reviews and evaluations of examination systems, question banks, and assessment methods to ensure alignment with course objectives and published learning outcomes. Examination content is carefully reviewed in terms of knowledge coverage, the ability to assess students’ analytical and application skills, while ensuring objectivity, fairness, and transparency in the evaluation of learning outcomes.
The review of course learning outcomes is carried out in parallel with the review of syllabi and examination materials, with the aim of ensuring close alignment among all stages of the training process. Through this approach, the Faculty seeks to enhance training effectiveness based on an outcome-based education orientation, meeting the requirements of educational quality accreditation and the needs of society for human resources in the disciplines currently offered.
It can be affirmed that the preparatory activities prior to the commencement of Semester 2 of the 2025–2026 academic year by the Faculty of Air Transport Economics have been implemented in a proactive, rigorous, and comprehensive manner. This serves as an important foundation for ensuring training quality, improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning, and creating favorable conditions for Semester 2 to be conducted as planned and to achieve its set objectives.
In the coming period, the Faculty of Air Transport Economics will continue to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, innovation, and creativity in training activities, continuously improving the quality of academic programs, teaching staff, and student learning activities, thereby contributing to affirming the prestige and position of Vietnam Aviation Academy within the national higher education system.
