The Faculty of Air Transport Economics held a Curriculum Review Workshop in 2025 (at the Faculty Level)
On the morning of May 28, 2025, at meeting room A201, the Faculty of Air Transport Economics held its department-level Curriculum Review Workshop with the participation of the Faculty’s Dean, Deputy Dean, Heads of Departments, and all faculty lecturers. This is an important activity aimed at ensuring the timeliness, scientific foundation, and practical relevance of the training programs, meeting the requirements of higher education reform and the labor market demands in the fields under the Faculty’s management.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu—Vice President of the Vietnam Aviation Academy and Dean of the Faculty of Air Transport Economics—emphasized the pivotal role of curriculum development in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, thereby contributing to the elevation of the Academy’s reputation. Dr. Vu also expressed his appreciation to the faculty’s lecturers for their responsibility and dedication in the education process and program innovation. He further expressed his hope that this workshop would serve as a serious and open academic forum where all members could contribute constructive feedback to improve the current programs.

Overview of the Workshop Program
Following the opening, Dr. Ha Minh Hieu—Head of the Department of Logistics & Supply Chain Management—presented a summary report on the review results of the Transport Economics program. The program currently offers three specializations: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Multimodal Transport, and Air Transport Economics.

Next, MSc. Tran Thi Thu Hien—Head of the Department of International Trade—presented the review report on the International Business program, with a focus on the International Trade specialization. According to Ms. Hien, the current curriculum of the International Trade specialization is developed based on benchmarking with advanced programs from international universities and adapted to the realities of Vietnam. However, given the rapidly changing global business environment, certain adjustments are necessary.

During the discussion session, the faculty leadership and all lecturers actively contributed valuable ideas. All feedback was seriously noted by the Review Committee and will serve as a foundation for further improving the curriculum, ensuring the training of dynamic, globally integrated students who are ready to seize career opportunities in transport economics and international business.
The 2025 Curriculum Review Workshop of the Faculty of Air Transport Economics took place in a lively, open-minded, and responsible academic atmosphere. This annual activity aims to ensure educational quality and affirm the position and reputation of the Faculty of Air Transport Economics in particular and the Vietnam Aviation Academy as a whole.
