The Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering organizes the evaluation of training programs for four new academic specializations
On April 23, 2025, at Room G405, Campus 2 of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering successfully organized a meeting of the Program Assessment Council to evaluate four new specialized training programs under two major academic disciplines: Automation and Control Engineering Technology, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology.
The programs assessed include:

Composition of the Program Assessment Council
All councils were chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Khương, Chairman of the Faculty’s Scientific and Training Council, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Vietnam Aviation Academy. Council members included lecturers, experts from universities, enterprises, and industry employers:

Each program was thoroughly presented by its development team, including the educational orientation, curriculum framework, expected learning outcomes, and relevant career positions after graduation. Council members contributed practical and professional feedback regarding:

The necessity of including specialized courses in aviation, AI, IoT, UAV, and robotics

Practice-oriented training approach, lecturer qualifications, and supporting facilities

Conclusion
The Program Assessment Council unanimously approved all four training programs, with the request that the development teams incorporate the feedback and make the necessary revisions before submitting them for official approval by the Academy’s Director.
The development and assessment of these new academic programs represent a strategic step by the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in aligning with modern trends in engineering education, while also addressing the increasing demand for high-quality human resources in both the industrial and aviation sectors in the digital era.
