VAA – International Scientific Conference “Aviation and Tourism – Post-Covid-19 Recovery: Challenges and Prospects”
From 24/11 to 26/11, the International Scientific Conference “Aviation and Tourism – Post-Covid-19 Recovery: Challenges and Prospects” (abbreviated as ATPR 2022) was held with the active participation of domestic and foreign speakers and a large number of officials, officials, employees, etc students of the Vietnam Aviation Academy and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City as well as higher education institutions nationwide.
The ATPR 2022 workshop is hosted by the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences (WUAS) – Germany and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).
Attending the workshop at the opening session on the afternoon of November 24, in addition to scientists, experts in the field of aviation and leaders of co-organizers, there were also representatives of state management agencies such as: Mr. Le Tuan Anh – Director of the Department of International Cooperation / Ministry of Transport; Mr. Ho Minh Tan – Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam; Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.

The ATPR 2022 workshop aims to propose potential solutions for the strong recovery and development of the two sectors after the pandemic. The agenda of the workshop was consulted by professional agencies at the ministerial and city levels along with many professors, doctors, domestic and foreign experts in the fields of aviation, tourism, economy and culture; at the same time, it carries the mission of connecting the knowledge of academic teams, domestic and international experts to discuss the challenges and prospects of the two aviation and tourism industries in the context of recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

The workshop exchanged and discussed issues such as: Challenges, support policies and business solutions for Covid-19 recovery in Vietnam and around the world; The current situation and solutions for the development of sustainable advantages in the aviation and tourism industry in Vietnam; trends and strategies for diversifying services of the two industries in the era and new shifting habits of consumers; technology strategies and digital transformation solutions to enhance customer experience and service quality; other economic, technical, social and cultural topics that affect market shifts, customer behavior and production and business efficiency of the two industries, aviation and tourism.

After the Workshop, the Organizing Committee of the Workshop took the speakers to visit and experience at the river tourist attractions of the Mekong Delta region in the Southwest.
