Hypothetical Interpretation Scientific Workshop for English Language Students
Based on UNESCO’s Mock Conference model, the Hypothetical Interpretation Science Workshop gave English Language students an exciting academic playground this morning, April 15, 2024.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhu Diep – Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; ASS. TS. Nguyen Cong Hoan – Head of the Faculty of Tourism and Aviation Services with lecturers and students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

At the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Hoan – Head of the Faculty of Tourism and Aviation Services gave a report on the topic “Service quality factors affect the loyalty of hospitality businesses to businesses sending tourists in Vietnam”.

The group of students had a two-way expulsion interpretation session (English-Vietnamese & Vietnamese-English). The criteria for evaluating the students’ practical part include: Conveying the message; Use of language (grammar, vocabulary, structure,..); Translation and interpretation techniques; Pronounce; Fluency, fluency, confidence in conveying messages. After the performance, the group received comments and encouragement from the lecturers on how to use words more closely, how to improvise and handle situations… during the serial epidemic.

According to the plan, final-year students majoring in Aviation English, Business English, in English Language will undergo 2 months of internship (from March 1 to April 30, 2024). Students must complete 2 stages, including: internship at an English-speaking company/unit (minimum 4-6 weeks) and vocational internship.
This year, students are selected from the following career practice directions: Practical Practice Abroad – Experiential Learning; Practice organizing practical services in the country – Service Learning and Interpreting Hypothetical Scientific Seminars.
