This comprehensive evaluation aimed to assess the effectiveness and adherence to the standards of the **Trainair Plus** program at the Vietnam Aviation Academy, ensuring continuous improvement in training quality and alignment with international aviation standards.
In 2023, the **TrainAir Plus Program** at the Vietnam Aviation Academy plans to organize short-term training courses with two main directions:
- **Internal Training** to provide foundational aviation knowledge to the Academy’s faculty members.
- **External Aviation Training Courses** offered by ICAO and its partners, selected to meet the current needs of aviation stakeholders in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Specifically, five training courses are planned as follows:
– **Aviation Fundamentals (AviFun)** – in collaboration with the University of Waterloo (Canada) and ICAO.
– **Aerodrome Safety Management Incorporating PANS** – in collaboration with Incheon Airport Aviation Academy.
– **Aerodrome Inspection** – in collaboration with Incheon Airport Aviation Academy.
– **Training Instructors Course (TIC) – Part 1** – in collaboration with ICAO & JAA TO.
– **Training Instructors Course (TIC) – Part 2** – in collaboration with ICAO.
With a continued commitment to being a member of the **TrainAir Plus** program of the **International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)**, the Academy aims to achieve the following goals for the period 2023-2027:
– **Train a core group of instructors in Vietnam** capable of delivering global aviation programs to ICAO standards.
– **Launch timely international training programs** to meet market demand and prevent competition from other domestic training organizations.
– **Enhance the Academy’s membership status**, aiming to upgrade from Associate Member to Platinum Member within 4 years.
– **Expand aviation training activities** to neighboring countries in the region, such as Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
– **Maintain the Academy’s position** as a leader in aviation training both domestically and regionally.
These efforts reflect the Academy’s continued pursuit of excellence and its commitment to improving aviation education and training standards in Vietnam and beyond.
