THE VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY COLLABORATES WITH MANY MAJOR COMPANIES TO TRAIN HIGH-QUALITY HUMAN RESOURCES
On the afternoon of August 9, 2023, the Vietnam Aviation Academy held a ceremony to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with various companies and organizations across multiple industries. This is an important event that opens up new opportunities for cooperation between the Academy and these organizations in the training and development of high-quality human resources.
Accordingly, four companies and organizations signed the cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Aviation Academy, including: EOH LLC, Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation Inc. (ASSIST), Vietnam Fire Tourism LLC, and the Center for Labor Market Demand Forecasting and Information in Ho Chi Minh City. These organizations not only provide equipment and scholarships for students, but they are also ready to accept students for internships and offer employment opportunities after graduation.
STUDENTS AND LECTURERS TRAINED AT THE EXCELLENCE TRAINING CENTER
ASSIST is a non-profit, self-sustaining organization driven by a passion for contributing to societal progress. Over the past 18 years, ASSIST has implemented more than 300 projects in 20 countries, funded by various global organizations. Currently, ASSIST is carrying out the “Excellence Training Center” project, which is funded by the Schneider Foundation and Schneider Electric (France).
With this agreement, lecturers at the Vietnam Aviation Academy will participate in training courses on the field of “Green Electricity and Automation.” This will enhance the lecturers’ capabilities to train students in the knowledge required for the “Green Electricity and Automation Engineering” field. Additionally, 500 students (each year) from the Academy will have access to short-term training programs in “Green Electricity and Automation” to meet market demand.
IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT AFTER GRADUATION
In collaboration with Vietnam Fire Tourism LLC, this partnership opens up opportunities for students of the Vietnam Aviation Academy (especially those in the Tourism and Travel Services Management program) to be employed immediately after graduation. According to the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate in areas such as: recruitment and workforce development; organizing field trips, internships, and practical training programs; scientific research; and consulting on company management solutions.
Vietnam Aviation Academy signed with Lua Viet ToursLửa Việt also sponsors scholarships for outstanding students to support those from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with opportunities for future development. Additionally, every year, Lửa Việt collaborates with the Academy to provide career guidance for students preparing to graduate, linking training activities to enhance students’ skills and improve their employability upon graduation.
COLLABORATION ON LABOR DEMAND FORECASTING AND LABOR MARKET INFORMATION
With the memorandum of understanding signed with the Center for Labor Market Demand Forecasting and Information in Ho Chi Minh City, both parties will implement activities related to human resources and the labor market, focusing on connecting training and employment to support the overall development of the city.
Accordingly, the two parties will collaborate on activities in the following areas: coordinating the organization of labor demand forecasting activities and labor market information; hosting workshops, scientific discussions, and training solutions related to human resources, labor markets, and the connection between training and employment; implementing technology applications for communication on labor force forecasting and labor market information. Additionally, they will establish an electronic information portal (website) to share and promote joint activities.
BRINGING TECHNOLOGY INTO THE CLASSROOM
In order to provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience in the field of information technology, the Vietnam Aviation Academy has signed a cooperation agreement with EOH LLC to develop training, scientific research, and technology related to IoT, communication, and brand development.
The signing of the MOU between the two parties aims to facilitate collaboration in organizing training activities and scientific research for lecturers, and to help students of the Academy learn and practice directly on modern equipment and tools. This will provide answers, guidance, and disseminate the latest applications in the field of IoT, as well as the E-Ra platform, which is being used in the fields of Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, etc.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Lê Hồng Long – Director of EOH Co., Ltd. presented a symbolic donation of 1,000 ERA accounts for lecturers and students of the Vietnam Aviation Academy. The total value of the subscription donation, before taxes, is approximately 3.4 billion VND.
