VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY BRINGS BUSINESSES TO CAMPUS FOR STUDENT RECRUITMENT
This afternoon, on May 26, Vietnam Aircraft Engineering Corporation (VAECO) visited the Vietnam Aviation Academy to meet with the Academy’s leadership and directly engage with students for the purpose of recruiting high-quality personnel for the future.
Attending the meeting from VAECO were Mr. Phạm Minh Hiệp – Deputy General Director; Mr. Trần Viết Quang – Head of the Organization and Human Resources Department; Mr. Phạm Trung Toàn – Director of the HCM External Maintenance Center; Mr. Dương Đình Quang – Deputy Director of the HCM Internal Maintenance Center; Mr. Trần Ngọc Anh – Head of the Human Resource Development Department, Organization and Human Resources Department; and Mr. Đặng Anh Tú – Deputy Head of the Technical Department, HCM External Maintenance Center.
Welcoming and working with the delegation from VAECO were Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng – Director of the Academy; Prof. Dr. Hà Nam Khánh Giao – Deputy Director; Dr. Lưu Văn Thuần – Head of the Aeronautical Engineering Department; M.A. Nguyễn Minh Tùng – Head of the Admissions and Student Affairs Department, along with the Academy’s lecturers.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on opportunities and strategies for a more robust and long-lasting cooperation in the future. The Director of the Academy, Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng, expressed her gratitude and hoped for a long-term collaboration with VAECO in training, scientific research, and other strategic partnerships.
Both sides have agreed to move forward with signing a cooperation agreement as soon as possible, with the aim of bringing tangible benefits to the Academy’s students in areas such as site visits, internships, practical training, recruitment, and other related activities.
Mr. Trần Viết Quang, Head of the Organization and Human Resources Department at VAECO, stated that in 2023, the company is seeking to recruit a large number of aircraft engineers, aircraft technicians, aircraft structural repair technicians, as well as many other positions across airports nationwide. He also outlined a development roadmap for employees, from the time they are hired until they become professional staff members of the company. According to this plan, the salaries for engineers, aircraft technicians, and aircraft structural repair technicians will increase according to a set trajectory, ranging from 12 to 44 million VND (for engineers and aircraft technicians) and from 12 to 38 million VND (for aircraft structural repair technicians).
During the meeting, the students also exchanged and shared their questions with the VAECO experts, covering topics such as career development pathways, salary policies, training policies, and the working environment and conditions at the company. Mr. Trần Viết Quang provided approachable insights, addressed the students’ questions directly, and offered practical answers to their concerns.
In recent years, VAECO has welcomed hundreds of staff members and interns from the Vietnam Aviation Academy. “The capabilities of the interns, as well as the personnel from the Vietnam Aviation Academy, are very impressive. We highly appreciate the enthusiasm, professionalism, and eagerness to learn displayed by the Academy’s students. They have a solid knowledge base and excellent English proficiency,” said Mr. Phạm Minh Hiệp, Deputy General Director of VAECO, when commenting on the Academy’s students.
