FINAL ROUND OF “KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE” OLYMPIA INTERNATIONAL KNOWLEDGE 2025 – A DRAMATIC, ARDUOUS, AND FIERY RACE

On June 8, 2025, the final round of the “Olympia International Knowledge 2025” competition took place in a vibrant and fiery atmosphere at Room A301 – Vietnam Aviation Academy. The four most outstanding teams, comprising eight talented contestants, delivered dramatic, creative, and courageous intellectual battles, leaving an unforgettable mark on this year’s program.

“Olympia International Knowledge” is an annual academic competition organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, under the direction of the Academy’s Youth Union and Student Association. Its mission is to spread knowledge, ignite a passion for learning, and connect students in a modern academic environment. Over three seasons, the program has gradually affirmed its position as one of the outstanding academic activities of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – a place that gathers young, creative minds always eager to reach new intellectual heights.

Throughout the Olympia International Knowledge 2025 program, the Organizing Committee was honored to receive enthusiastic support from lecturers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, who served as the competition’s Expert Committee: Mr. Nguyen Phu Dai and Ms. Nguyen Thu Huyen. Representing the Academy’s Youth Union were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hao, Secretary of the Academy’s Youth Union, and Mr. Pham Vi Khang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Academy’s Youth Union. Additionally, the program was honored to welcome former Youth Union and Student Association officials from various terms, including Mr. Nguyen Tran Tam Doan, former Deputy Secretary of the Faculty of Foreign Languages’ Youth Union (Term I), and Mr. Vo Nhut Dang Khoa, former Deputy Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages’ Student Union (Term I).

With the theme “Southeast Asian Culture,” the 2025 competition offers a colorful journey of discovery. Contestants aren’t just challenged on their knowledge of culture, history, geography, and society, but also broaden their perspectives on the identity, languages, and spirit of solidarity among Southeast Asian nations. This isn’t merely an intellectual competition; it’s also an opportunity for the younger generation to demonstrate their integration, multicultural understanding, and enhance their critical thinking skills in an era of globalization.

The four competing teams, each with distinct characteristics — Batik, Merlion, Banh Mi, Tomyum — not only delivered thrilling competitions but also told unique and inspiring stories, reflecting the rich diversity of Southeast Asian culture.

Throughout the four classic competition rounds: Kick-off, Overcoming Obstacles, Acceleration and Finish Line, contestants showcased exceptional potential, knowledge, and critical thinking. The content revolved around diverse topics, including: the culture and history of Southeast Asian nations; international relations, economics, and ASEAN regional cooperation; and pivotal events, figures, and symbolic cultural-political values of countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore…

Each round was a journey of discovery, and each team was a microcosm of the regional spirit: Diversity – Identity – Unity – Development.

After breathtaking moments of competition, dramatic score chases, and thunderous applause for the contestants’ excellence, the final round of Olympia International Knowledge 2025 has officially concluded. It leaves behind a beautiful legacy of an inspiring journey in the pursuit of knowledge.

More than just a knowledge-based playground, Olympia International Knowledge 2025 was a journey for “academic climbers”—young individuals who dared to step out of their comfort zones, challenged their own limits, and constantly yearned to reach new heights.

Ultimately, the most outstanding individuals were honored:

• First Prize: Bui Tan Duy and Nguyen Tung Lam – Batik Team
• Second Prize: Pham Hung Cuong and Dang Hai Tam Nhu – Merlion Team
• Third Prize: Tieu Ngoc Nhu Quynh and Nguyen Hai Anh – Banh Mi Team
• Consolation Prize: Pham Thi My Tinh and Pham Hoai Minh Thu – Tomyum Team
