The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Aviation Academy proudly stands as a leading training center in key technical fields of the aviation industry.
We offer high-quality training programs in two main fields: “Control and Automation Engineering Technology” and “Telecommunications Electronics Engineering Technology”, designed to meet the increasing demands of the aviation industry and related sectors.

The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, formerly known as the Faculty of Aviation Telecommunications Electronics, was renamed in July 2021.
Established in 1979, it is one of the first three faculties of the Vietnam Aviation School and has played a crucial role in shaping the early development of the institution.
The diversity and specialization in these fields not only provide vast learning opportunities but also create favorable conditions for students to access the most advanced knowledge and technologies. This, in turn, contributes to the sustainable development of the electronics, telecommunications, and automation industries.
Currently, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering operates with two main departments:
– Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology
+ Specialization in Electronics, Telecommunications, and AI
+ Specialization in Applied Electronics with AI and IoT
– Department of Control and Automation Engineering Technology
+ Specialization in UAV and Robotics
+ Specialization in Airport Electrical Automation
The total number of faculty members is 16, including 1 Associate Professor with a PhD, 4 PhDs, 11 Masters, along with several visiting lecturers.
This specialization provides a solid foundation in modern telecommunications, focusing on wireless networks, digital signal processing, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in communication.
Students will gain exposure to 5G technology, IoT, computer vision, and Deep Learning, enabling them to design, optimize, and develop intelligent telecommunication systems that meet connectivity demands in the digital era.
This specialization aims to integrate AI with electronic systems and IoT, creating smart solutions for industry and daily life.
Students will study embedded system design, big data processing, AI programming for IoT devices, and practical applications in smart cities, healthcare, and industrial automation.

Students in this specialization will be trained in embedded control, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, and smart sensors to develop UAV and robotic systems.
The program provides a strong foundation for UAV applications in surveillance, rescue operations, and smart agriculture, as well as the design and programming of robots for industrial and service applications.
This specialization equips students with knowledge of automated electrical systems in airports, including power supply, airport automation control, maintenance, and electrical system monitoring.
Additionally, the program integrates AI and IoT technologies to enhance efficiency and safety in airport operations.
