The Faculty of Business Administration
The Faculty of Business Administration – Vietnam Aviation Academy (FBA – VAA) was officially established in 2021, evolving from the Faculty of Aviation Transport (2007-2020). Currently, the Faculty encompasses seven departments: Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Aviation Security, Human Resource Management, and Business. The primary goal of the Faculty is to cultivate future professionals who possess the necessary qualities, knowledge, and expertise in business and management, with a particular focus on the management, operations, commerce, and services within the aviation industry.

The Faculty of Business Administration's Missions
Education and Teaching in Business Administration and Human Resource Management
- The Faculty of Business Administration – VAA is responsible for designing and implementing training programs that align with the academy’s standards and orientation, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and short-term courses.
- The Faculty also undertakes the task of teaching and guiding students in its specialized fields.
- Currently, the Faculty manages seven departments: Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Aviation Security, Human Resource Management, and Business Studies.
- With 14 years of admissions experience and an average annual intake of 770 students across various majors, the Faculty now educates 2,452 full-time students. Graduates from 2017 to 2020 have shown a high employment rate within 12 months of graduation, securing positions at major companies. Business Administration graduates are currently employed at various agencies and enterprises both within and outside the aviation industry, such as the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, various airports, airlines including Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways, air cargo companies, and travel agencies.
Scientific Research
- The Faculty of Business Administration – VAA has been actively involved in scientific research projects ranging from those under the Ministry of Transport to national and international conferences.
- These research projects have been published in prestigious domestic and international scientific journals. Papers presented at annual scientific conferences have consistently received high praise. The Faculty also actively encourages students to participate in various research projects.
- Through these efforts, the Faculty is not only committed to providing high-quality undergraduate education but is also gearing towards the establishment of a Doctoral program in Business Administration in the near future.
Faculty Management and Development
- The Faculty focuses on building, training, and enhancing the teaching capabilities of its academic staff. This includes not only attracting new talent but also developing existing faculty members through specialized training programs and supporting scientific research.
- Emphasis is placed on creating a conducive working environment that fosters creativity, with the goal of improving the quality of teaching and research.

- The Faculty of Business Administration – VAA has established strategic partnerships with leading enterprises in the aviation industry and the broader market.
- The Faculty consistently seeks and expands its partnerships with universities, research institutes, and businesses both domestically and internationally to enhance academic exchange, technology transfer, and improve the quality of education.
- Through these collaborations, students and faculty members have the opportunity to access the latest trends in business administration, thereby enhancing their knowledge and practical skills.
- Collaborative research projects and joint training programs also help elevate the Faculty’s and the Academy’s standing on the international educational map
