The Faculty of Business Administration – Vietnam Aviation Academy (FBA – VAA) was officially established in 2021, evolving from the Faculty of Aviation Transport (2007-2020). Currently, the Faculty encompasses seven departments: Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Aviation Security, Human Resource Management, and Business. The primary goal of the Faculty is to cultivate future professionals who possess the necessary qualities, knowledge, and expertise in business and management, with a particular focus on the management, operations, commerce, and services within the aviation industry.

The training program in Air Transportation Management aims to provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of aviation economics and trade. The program equips them with in-depth knowledge of aviation economics, airline management, cargo management, aircraft maintenance management and the development of a sustainable aviation operating environment. Students are trained to have the capacity to develop and implement business plans and projects suitable for aviation business activities for enterprises, state and international organizations; at the same time, they are capable of taking on management and professional positions in the aviation field in enterprises and state management agencies. They have the capacity to obtain appropriate professional certificates related to certain jobs in the aviation field according to integrated study programs with approved training organizations (ATO).

The training program in Airport Business Management aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of airport and aviation commerce and economics. Students will be trained in airport management, infrastructure management, and service operations at airports, allowing them to apply this knowledge to the practical aspects of airport business activities and aviation operations in general. The program helps students develop the ability to design and implement management plans and projects to develop airports, meeting the professional requirements of businesses and organizations in the aviation industry. Students will be qualified to take on management and professional positions in businesses, government agencies, and international organizations in the aviation sector, particularly in airport operations, services, and commerce. They will also be equipped to achieve relevant professional certifications related to specific jobs in the aviation industry, integrated with accredited training organizations (ATO).

The Security Management training program aims to provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills in security management, including management, administration, human resources, marketing, accounting, and security law. Learners will develop the capability to design and implement business plans/projects for individuals, organizations, governments, and international entities. They will also gain the ability to perform managerial and professional tasks in the specialized field of security management at enterprises and governmental agencies, particularly in managing operations, commercial activities, and security services within the aviation sector. The program equips learners with the competency to obtain relevant professional certifications for specific roles in the aviation field through an integrated training program with approved training organizations (ATO).

– The program aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in business, including knowledge and skills in management, administration, human resources, marketing, accounting and law; with the ability to develop and implement business plans/projects for individuals, organizations, governments and international organizations. In addition to general knowledge and skills in business and administration, learners are also provided with specialized knowledge and skills of their major selection.
– Able to perform management and professional work in the field of economics and business administration at enterprises and state management agencies, especially in the fields of management, exploitation, trade and services in the aviation industry.
– Have sufficient capacity to obtain an appropriate professional certificate related to a given job in the aviation sector according to an integrated study program with approved training organizations (ATO).

The specialized training program in General Business Administration aims to provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills in business including knowledge and skills in management, administration, human resources, marketing, accounting and law; have the capacity to develop and implement business plans/projects for individuals, organizations, governments and international organizations; Being able to perform management and professional work in the field of economics specialized in business administration at enterprises and state management agencies, especially in the field of management, operation, trade and services in the aviation industry; Possess sufficient competence to obtain a suitable professional certificate related to certain work in the aviation sector under an integrated curriculum with approved training institutions (ATOs).

The bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management provides students with fundamental and advanced specialized knowledge, with the goal of developing scientific understanding as a foundation for further study. Furthermore, the Bachelor of Human Resource Management is capable of performing human resource management tasks such as strategic planning, policies, and enterprise human resource planning; understanding job design analysis, recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits, occupational health and safety; and understanding how to establish, maintain, and develop enterprise-employee relations, etc. Bachelor of Human Resource Management graduates can also analyze, criticize, and solve human resource problems, as well as self-manage, research, and study at a higher level.
