FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES – VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY PARTICIPATES IN THE 2026 ADMISSIONS AND CAREER ORIENTATION FAIR IN CAN THO
On March 22, 2026, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) participated in the 2026 Admissions and Career Orientation Fair at Can Tho University, attracting a large number of students and parents from the Mekong Delta region.

At the Academy’s booth, lecturers and students from various faculties, including the Faculty of Foreign Languages, directly provided consultation and information on academic programs, learning environments, and career opportunities. The Faculty of Foreign Languages offers the following majors: English Language (720 seats), Chinese Language (120 seats), and Korean Language (120 seats).

A distinctive feature of language training at VAA is its strong orientation toward the aviation industry and international environment. Students not only study languages but are also exposed to real-life communication scenarios in airports, airlines, tourism, and commerce, thereby enhancing practical skills and employability after graduation.

Admissions information for 2026 was presented in a clear and accessible manner, highlighting five admission methods: the national high school graduation exam, high school transcripts, competency assessment tests, international certificates (SAT/ACT/IB), and direct admission. Applicants only need to register their preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system, which will automatically select the most advantageous method for admission.

Language programs mainly use subject combinations such as TA01 (Foreign Language – Mathematics – one elective subject) and TA02 (Foreign Language – Literature – one elective subject), in which the Foreign Language subject is given a higher weighting, providing an advantage for students with strong language proficiency.
In addition, the Academy applies a conversion policy for international language certificates such as IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC, while also accepting equivalent certificates such as HSK and TOPIK depending on the specific program, thereby enhancing applicants’ competitiveness in the admission process.
Moreover, various attractive scholarship programs, including valedictorian scholarships and talent scholarships, were introduced, offering motivation and support for students preparing their applications.
The consultation atmosphere was dynamic and engaging, with active participation from VAA students who shared their real learning experiences and career orientations. This provided prospective students with a more practical and relatable understanding of studying at the Academy.
Participation in the fair in Can Tho serves as an opportunity for Vietnam Aviation Academy to strengthen its connection with students in the southern region, accompanying and guiding them in choosing suitable academic paths toward a sustainable future.
