FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES – VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY ANNOUNCES RECRUITMENT FOR 2026

In order to strengthen its team of high-quality lecturers and meet the growing demands of training and research in the context of international integration within the aviation industry and related fields, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy is pleased to announce its lecturer recruitment for 2026.

The Faculty of Foreign Languages warmly welcomes applicants who possess strong academic expertise, a passion for teaching and research, and a commitment to contributing to a dynamic, innovative, and globally oriented academic environment.

Applicant Qualifications

Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree in one of the following fields:

• English Language

• English Language Teaching (ELT / TESOL / Applied Linguistics)

• Comparative and Contrastive Linguistics

• Other language majors (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Russian, etc.) or related fields.

Applicants must have obtained Excellent (Giỏi) academic classification in both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
In cases where applicants have at least 5 years of university teaching experience and have participated in social insurance contributions in accordance with regulations, a Good (Khá) or higher classification in Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees is acceptable.

All academic degrees must be in the same or closely related fields, or applicants must hold a relevant doctoral degree.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Possess a foreign language certificate at Level 3 (B1) according to the Vietnamese 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for one of the following languages: English, French, Russian, German, Chinese, or an equivalent qualification.

• Applicants whose qualifications fall under the foreign language exemption regulations as stipulated in Decree No. 85/2023/NĐ-CP (amending Decree No. 115/2020/NĐ-CP) may use those qualifications in place of the required foreign language certificate.

• The foreign language certificate must be issued within two (02) years prior to the application submission date.

• Possess appropriate IT proficiency required for the job position.

• Hold a Pedagogical Certificate for University Lecturers or an equivalent qualification
  (this may be supplemented within 12 months after recruitment if not yet obtained).

• Have practical knowledge and understanding of the field or discipline assigned for teaching.

• Be in good health and capable of working in a high-pressure academic environment.

Priority Consideration

Priority will be given to applicants who:

• Have teaching and research experience at higher education institutions.

• Hold a Doctoral degree (PhD).
