FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES: IGNITING A LOVE FOR LANGUAGES AT THE “AROUND THE WORLD” FESTIVAL

On January 24, 2026, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy participated in and accompanied the “Around the World” Language Festival held at Nguyen Cong Tru High School. The event created a vibrant space for linguistic and cultural exchange, contributing to the promotion of foreign language learning enthusiasm and career orientation among high school students.

The “Around the World” Language Festival provided an opportunity to strengthen the connection between the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy and Nguyen Cong Tru High School. Within the framework of the program, the Faculty introduced its training programs in English, Korean, and Chinese Language Studies, while also offering career guidance and information on employment opportunities in the fields of commerce, tourism, and aviation to the students.

In addition, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy organized and guided students in participating in various cultural experience activities, notably the Tuho game (arrow throwing) – a traditional Korean folk game – and the opportunity to try on Hanbok, the traditional Korean costume. Through these hands-on experiences, students were able to engage more vividly with different cultures and national identities, thereby enhancing their interest in learning foreign languages.

Alongside these activities, interactive minigames with attractive prizes helped create a lively atmosphere, encouraging students to actively engage, confidently ask questions, and participate in activities using foreign languages.

Through the program, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy continues to affirm its role in accompanying high schools in inspiring foreign language learning, contributing to academic orientation and opening up future development opportunities for students.
