EXPLORE THE IMPRESSIVE ROUNDS OF THE MONEYVERSE 2025

On April 16th, 2025, the competition rounds of the “The Moneyverse – Season 2” took place at Vietnam Aviation Academy. The event was honored to welcome the presence of the Academy’s leadership, including faculty members from various departments and centers, representatives from the Youth Union and Student Union, alongside a large number of staff, faculty, and students who attended and cheered on the competitors. Notably, Mr. Le Hai, Head Representative of VTV Times in Southern, was also present at the event. More than just an academic playground, the competition created an opportunity to spread financial knowledge and foster modern financial thinking among students nationwide. It also served as a platform for students from Vietnam Aviation Academy to network, learn, enhance their skills, and demonstrate their resilience on the path to holistic development.

THE CHALLENGE OF RESILIENCE ROUND – CLOSED INTERVIEW

In the “Closed Interview” round, the competition received enthusiastic participation from a large number of students from various faculties and departments across the Academy. Each contestant entered the individual round in the form of a direct Q\&A with the panel of judges, which not only tested their in-depth financial knowledge but also served as a platform for them to showcase their critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to handle situations in a flexible and convincing manner.

The Atmosphere in the “Closed Interview” Round of the Casting

The “Closed Interview” round featured the presence of three esteemed judges representing various organizations: Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tu, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Business Administration (VAA); Mr. Hans Nguyen, Founder of the Training, Research, and Asset Management Consulting Center – WAM Institute; Mr. Long Hoang – Representative of VTV Times.

The atmosphere of the competition was highly professional, with the presence of esteemed judges who possess extensive experience in their respective fields of expertise.

At the end of the round, the panel of judges selected the two standout contestants who will represent Vietnam Aviation Academy in the national Casting round: Nguyen Trinh Tuong Vi from the Faculty of Business Administration and Tran Duc Minh from the Faculty of Aviation Operations.

TALKSHOW MONEYTALK “IF IT’S GONE, DON’T BE SAD ”

One of the highlights of the program was the MoneyTalk talkshow, skillfully hosted by MC Long Hoang, featuring an insightful and inspiring sharing session by Mr. Hans Nguyen.

As part of the Talkshow, students had the opportunity to gain practical financial knowledge and explore fresh perspectives on personal finance management, investment, and strategic thinking. The program not only provided guidance but also helped spark critical thinking, inspire, and nurture the desire to master financial skills in every student – preparing them to be dynamic digital citizens of the new era.

In particular, student Huynh Thi Quynh Nga – Top 6 finalists of the first season of The Moneyverse competition also participated in the event, bringing inspiration and motivation to the students. This outstanding achievement is not only a source of pride for Quynh Nga but also reflects the resilience and capabilities of Vietnam Aviation Academy students on the national academic stage.

MULTIPLE CHOICE ROUND – FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE DIGITAL AGE

With a diverse set of questions and a limited time frame, the multiple choice round not only tests foundational financial knowledge but also requires logical thinking and practical application. This is an opportunity for contestants to demonstrate their ability to analyze quickly, process information accurately, and react flexibly in the dynamic world of digital finance.

The competition received strong support from students across the Academy, with more than 400 students participating in the multiple choice round. At the end of the round, the top 75 contestants with the highest scores were officially revealed. These outstanding individuals will represent Vietnam Aviation Academy in the national competition, competing against universities across the country.
