Trường Sơn shared that the team’s project, “Sustainable Airport – A Commercial Aviation Model in the New Era,” focuses on addressing two major issues: airport emission pollution and airport waste pollution.
“By applying AI technology, we have developed three key systems:
1️⃣ An emission recovery system at airport runways and vehicle entry/exit lanes. The collected emissions will be transferred to an on-site processing center, cooled, and repurposed for airport operations.
2️⃣ A flooring system that generates electricity from human footsteps.
3️⃣ An AI-powered waste sorting system, combined with thermal, chemical, and biological waste treatment.
The outputs from these systems will be directly utilized to enhance airport operations, contributing to a greener and more sustainable aviation industry.”
