OKASAN LIVIC COMPANY (JAPAN) VISITED AND CONDUCTED BUSINESS DISCUSSIONS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION
On the morning of February 16, 2023, a delegation from Okasan Livic Vietnam, including Mr. Hirahara Naoyuki – General Director, and Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Phương – Assistant, visited the Vietnam Aviation Academy to explore potential collaboration opportunities and to tour the Department of Construction.
The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thành Đạt – Head of the Department of Construction, along with the participation of Dr. Nguyễn Phi Long, Dr. Trần Đăng Khải, Dr. Lê Hoài Linh, M.A. Nguyễn Văn Hoa, and M.A. Bùi Nam Phương, all of whom are lecturers from the Department of Construction.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged and shared their operational experiences. The Department of Construction appreciated the contributions made by Okasan Livic regarding the training programs. The department also expressed its intention to review practical inputs and improve the curriculum to better meet the recruitment needs of Japanese companies, including Okasan Livic, in the near future.

Both sides had a very positive exchange, aiming to foster collaboration in terms of expertise and scientific research in the near future
On behalf of Okasan Livic, Mr. Hirahara Naoyuki provided an in-depth overview of the company’s product capabilities, which have been applied both in Vietnam and Japan in recent years. Additionally, Mr. Hirahara shared the company’s practical experience in constructing airport projects in Japan, as well as potential products that could be applied in the aviation industry in Vietnam.
During the meeting, Okasan Livic proposed offering scholarships for students in the Department of Construction and accepting students for internships. Additionally, the company expressed its willingness to collaborate with the department in developing technical standards for the construction industry, which have already been implemented in Japan.
On the part of the Department of Construction, there was a commitment to training high-quality human resources that can meet the company’s recruitment needs, as well as supporting the company in developing specialized skills for its employees.
