COMMENDATION CEREMONY FOR “STUDENTS WITH 5 GOOD CRITERIA” – ANH TRIUMPHANT CONCLUSION TO ANH JOURNEY OF COMPREHENSIVE EFFORT 2024

On April 27th, 2025, the Youth Union and Student Union of the Vietnam Aviation Academy solemnly held the Commendation Ceremony for “Students with 5 Good Criteria” at all levels and Outstanding youth organizations’ cadres 2024. This important event honored outstanding and well-rounded students who achieved the prestigious title of “Students with 5 Good Criteria”, as well as exemplary Youth Union and Student Union leaders at various levels — the prominent youth and student leaders of the Vietnam Aviation Academy.

The ceremony was honored to welcome the attendance of PhD. Co Tan Anh Vu — Deputy Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy; PhD. Hoang Thi Kim Quy — Party Committee Member and Former Secretary of the Academy’s Youth Union; Comrade Vu Minh Thai — Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction and Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hao — Secretary of the Academy’s Youth Union.

The title “Student with 5 Good Criteria” has long been recognized as a prestigious award within the national commendation system for students who continuously strive to improve themselves across all five aspects: Good morality, Good studying, Good physical training, Good volunteering and Good integration. Over the years, under the guidance of the Vietnam National Union of Students as well as the leadership of the Academy, the Vietnam Aviation Academy Student Union has consistently made efforts to facilitate and maximize its role in bringing the “Student with 5 Good Criteria” title closer to students.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong — Member of Standing Committee of the Academy’s Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Aviation Academy Student Union — announced the Decision to commend the title of “Students with 5 Good Criteria” at all levels for the terms 2023 – 2024.

In the 2023 – 2024 academic year, the Vietnam Aviation Academy Student Union recognized 110 individuals awarded the “Student with 5 Good Criteria” title at the Faculty level, 91 individuals at the Academy level, 5 outstanding individuals at the Academy level, and 3 collectives awarded the “Student Collectives with 5 Good Criteria” title at the Academy level. To honor these high-achieving individuals and collectives, the 2024 Commendation Ceremony for the “Students with 5 Good Criteria” at all levels was successfully held on April 27 in a solemn and lively atmosphere at the F100 Hall. Within the framework of the ceremony, the entire Organizing Committee and attending students had the opportunity to listen to guidance and heartfelt sharing from the Academy’s Leadership about the journey of accompanying the Aviation Academy and the continuous efforts to achieve the prestigious title of an all-rounded student.

Moreover, the Commendation Ceremony witnessed emotional and uplifting moments through inspiring performances by the Vietnam Aviation Academy Music Club. Particularly memorable was the moment when individuals and student collectives awarded the “Students with 5 Good Criteria” titles at various levels were called up to receive fresh sunflower bouquets, certificates of merit, and prestigious commemorative medals — a memory that will surely remain unforgettable throughout their journey and become a shining milestone for generations of dynamic and creative aviation students.

The 2024 Commendation Ceremony for the “Students with 5 Good Criteria” at all levels has come to a close. However, the Selection Council and the entire Organizing Committee believe that the ceremony has become a perfect conclusion to the persistent and resilient efforts of many generations of students across various faculties and departments, demonstrating their comprehensive capabilities. It is hoped that the moments captured during the ceremony will become unforgettable memories and serve as a great source of motivation, empowering the youth to dare to think, act, and dream. Once again, the Organizing Committee sincerely thanks all distinguished delegates, guests, leaders, and over 500 students who have shown their interest and followed the ceremony.
