ANNOUNCEMENT: ADVANCED COURSE ON NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL AVIATION LAW

The Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) is pleased to announce the organization of the advanced course “National & International Aviation Law” — an in-depth training program aimed at updating the latest legal knowledge in the field of civil aviation and enhancing the professional skills of staff, experts, and instructors working in the industry.

1. Course Objectives

The course is designed to help participants:

• Update international legal standards from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and key content of the Chicago Convention 1944 – the main legal foundation of international aviation.
• Understand the legal responsibilities of nations in the registration, design, maintenance, and operation of aircraft.
• Learn how to apply the legal system for aviation safety oversight, technical maintenance, and handling emergency situations.
• Develop and implement aviation legal documents in compliance with ICAO standards.
• Master the procedures for aircraft registration and the related legal processes for inspection, evaluation, and operation in civil aviation.

2. Instructors

The course will be taught by a team of experts:

• Instructors from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV)
• Instructors from Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA)

The instructors are experienced professionals with many years of practical expertise in building and applying aviation laws in Vietnam and within the framework of international cooperation.

3. Target Participants

This course is suitable for the following groups:

• Individuals authorized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (Designee)

• Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT)

• Experts and instructors responsible for safety and quality at organizations holding AOC, AMO, ATO certifications

• Aviation law instructors and specialized examiners

• Safety management officers, quality control supervisors, and document management and operation system developers
