On the morning of August 10, 2025, in the spirit of compassion and social responsibility, the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) took part in the 18th “Walk for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin”, held at Dam Sen Cultural Park, Ho Chi Minh City. This annual event, maintained over many years, is organized in response to the Day for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (August 10, 1961 – August 10, 2025). It serves as a meaningful occasion for the whole society to reflect, share, and help ease the lingering pain of war.

With the participation of over 5,000 people — including government officials, public servants, armed forces, business representatives, former State leaders, the international community, and local residents — the program created an atmosphere of warmth and humanity. Each step taken symbolized not only love and compassion, but also the resilient spirit of a nation that never forgets gratitude and always seeks to uplift those in need.

The Vietnam Aviation Academy’s Mark of Solidarity

Representatives from VAA — more than 200 staff, lecturers, employees, and students — gathered early in the morning, carrying banners and slogans, joining the flow of kindhearted participants. Every step from the VAA delegation embodied the values of mutual support, national solidarity, and each individual’s sense of responsibility toward the community.

Spreading Love, Extending Compassion

Over 18 consecutive years, the program has raised public awareness while delivering practical support to improve healthcare, living conditions, and community integration for victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin. This year, all funds raised will be contributed to the Fund for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin — a gesture of gratitude and a bridge of love reaching those still facing hardship.
