Functions and Responsibilities of the Aviation Training Center

Advise on and implement training, instruction, and professional development programs in aviation-related knowledge and occupational skills for relevant personnel, in accordance with prevailing regulations.

Deliver training and retraining programs for various aviation job titles as regulated; recruit and train aviation personnel in compliance with applicable standards.

Develop annual training plans and enrollment quotas.

Negotiate with domestic and international individuals and organizations, submit to the Director of VAA for approval, or sign training contracts under authorized delegation for aviation job titles and other social needs.

Receive, process, manage, and archive learners’ documents in compliance with applicable regulations.

Take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments, faculties, and centers in developing dossiers and procedures for the approval of aviation training facilities as required by regulations.

Lead and coordinate with relevant departments, faculties, and centers in developing teacher development plans and submitting specialized content for trainer approval in aviation personnel training to the Director of VAA .

Lead and coordinate with relevant departments, faculties, and centers in developing, updating training curricula, syllabi, and instructional materials for aviation job titles and societal demands.

Prepare budget estimates, class schedules, and organize the implementation of training and professional development programs for aviation positions and per the needs of society.

Coordinate with relevant departments to organize assessments, course examinations, and final tests as required by each specific training program.

Sign teaching contracts with lecturers and instructors (upon delegation by the Director of VAA) and prepare payment statements for teaching fees and related course expenses under the center’s responsibility.

Collaborate with the Academy’s Admissions and Student Affairs Office to provide counseling services aligned with social needs.

Ensure legal rights and interests of learners, staff, and employees participating in the center’s operations; maintain a safe training and learning environment.

Take responsibility for managing and utilizing the Academy’s infrastructure and equipment.

Submit to the Director of VAA for approval plans on mobilizing, managing, and utilizing resources, improving infrastructure, and investing in equipment to enhance the center’s operational effectiveness.

Fulfill reporting duties and comply with monitoring, inspection, and supervision conducted by VAA.

Serve the community and perform other tasks as prescribed by law.
