“AVIATION TOURISM AMBASSADOR” COMPETITION SEASON 2: A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERING TALENT AND ASSERTING POTENTIAL

Building on the success of its inaugural season and incorporating valuable lessons learned, the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Aviation Tourism and Services, Vietnam Aviation Academy, proudly launched Season 2 of the “Aviation Tourism Ambassador” Competition. This initiative is recognized as a key and distinctive program within the 2024-2025 academic year’s work plan.

The “Aviation Tourism Ambassador” Competition Season 2, organized by the Youth Union and Student Union of the Faculty of Aviation Tourism and Services, aims to find talented students with in-depth knowledge of the tourism and aviation sectors, who also possess the ability to inspire and promote Vietnamese culture. Contestants will go through a series of challenging rounds testing their skills, specialized knowledge, and presentation abilities to showcase their potential and creative thinking. The competition not only creates a beneficial academic playground but also opens up valuable opportunities for students to learn, fully develop professional skills, and cherish meaningful experiences in their journey of growth.

The Organizing Committee expects the “Aviation Tourism Ambassador” Competition Season 2 to help discover and honor dynamic, creative, and capable students who are worthy of becoming exemplary representatives of the aviation tourism industry in the future. Through this, students can enhance their knowledge, train, and develop comprehensive skills, meeting the increasingly high demands of the labor market.

EXCITING AND CHALLENGING COMPETITION ROUNDS

The competition is designed with diverse rounds, requiring contestants to demonstrate comprehensive capabilities:

• Kick-off Round – Lift-off (Preliminary Selection – Promising Candidates Take Flight): In this round, contestants will present an essay of approximately 1,000 words on the topic: “AeroTour Revolution – Through the Lens of a Future Aviation Tourism Ambassador!” Entries are encouraged to be creative and visually appealing (can be handmade), aiming to convey not only a message through language but also a declaration from a pioneering generation, passionate about the skies and eager to explore.
• Head-to-Head Round – Orbit Challenge (A Journey of 10 Teams Challenging Each Other in Orbit): From the 30 best contestants in Round 1, participants will be randomly divided into 10 teams. Teams will compete by creating and presenting a promotional video for aviation tourism. At the end of this round, the Organizing Committee will select the 10 most outstanding contestants to participate in the Final Night. Specifically, 9 contestants from the 3 winning teams and 1 contestant with the highest score from the remaining teams will be chosen. Scoring method: 40% of the total score comes from the online voting system via the Eventista website, and 60% of the total score is calculated from the professional Jury’s scores.

FINAL NIGHT – THE MOMENT TO SHINE

After two intense rounds, the 10 most outstanding contestants will compete in the Final Night to vie for the “Ambassador” title. The Final Night will take place live at Hall F100, Campus 2 of Vietnam Aviation Academy, at 4:00 PM on June 7, 2025. The final round competition will consist of two parts:

• Breakthrough – Cosmic Breakthrough (Semi-final – Individuals Showcasing Potential, Pushing Limits): The 5 winning contestants will advance to the Final Round. Each contestant will present their performance (creativity, talent, critical thinking, and personal identity are encouraged) within a 3-10 minute timeframe.
• Moment of Radiance – Stellar Ambassador (Final – Discovering the Aviation Tourism Ambassador Star): All contestants will receive the same topic and present their viewpoints within 3 minutes. Following this, each contestant will draw lots to select a Jury member for an interview question.

The “AeroTour Revolution” journey of the “Aviation Tourism Ambassador” Competition Season 2 concluded in a joyful and emotional Final Night. It was truly a platform where young, passionate hearts ignited their talents, overcoming all challenges to assert themselves.

More than just a competition, “Aviation Tourism Ambassador” Season 2 was a “dream forge,” where young talents were honed. With an outstanding performance, showcasing a blend of steely resolve, sharp intellect, and unique style, Nguyen Phung Tuong Van brilliantly surpassed all limits to become the WINNER OF AVIATION TOURISM AMBASSADOR SEASON 2 – a shining beacon, representing a generation of students constantly conquering new heights.
