A Career Flight Lands Right in the Lecture Hall: Over 400 Students Get Closer to Their Dream of Becoming Flight Attendants

The cabin crew welcomed attendees with the standard in-flight greeting, accompanied by an opening narration of a “flight by Vietnam Airlines right inside the auditorium.”
The event was honored to welcome representatives from both sides: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu – Vice President of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, M.A. Nguyen Thi Ha – Deputy Head of Admissions and Student Affairs; along with Vietnam Airlines representatives including Mr. Nguyen Hai Long – Deputy Head of Administration, Chief Flight Attendant Nguyen Thi Bach Nga – Deputy Head of Training, Chief Flight Attendant Vu Thi Kim Cuc, and members of the cabin crew team.
The presence of leaders, lecturers, and more than 400 students created a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere filled with anticipation.

Insights shared by working flight attendants gave students a clearer understanding of the profession.
More than just a career talk, the program was designed as a unique “career flight.” From the very beginning, the sight of the cabin crew performing standard in-flight greetings, along with the narration of a “flight from Vietnam Airlines to the Academy,” created a realistic atmosphere, making students feel as if they were stepping into their future working environment.

Students were measured and assessed according to flight attendant standards.
The program covered everything from an overview of the national airline and an introduction to the flight attendant profession, to recruitment criteria and selection procedures. Insights from working cabin crew helped students gain a deeper understanding of a career that may seem glamorous, but in reality requires discipline, strong skills, and perseverance.

Many students confidently stepped into their first interview round even before graduating.
A highlight of the event was the “Try Being a Vietnam Airlines Flight Attendant” experience zone, where students had the chance to do makeup, style their hair, try on the traditional flight attendant uniform, and practice professional demeanor. From posture and walking to smiles and communication, every detail was carefully guided, allowing students to truly “touch” and understand the standards of the profession for the first time.

Leaders from both organizations took commemorative photos together.
