Air Transport Economics is one of the key faculties at the Vietnam Aviation Academy. Its mission is to provide training, scientific research and transfer technology in aviation economics.

Air Transport Economics was established in 2021 to meet the growing demand for human resources in the field of Aviation Economics in Vietnam. The goal of the Faculty is to become a leading education and scientific research unit in Aviation Economics. Therefore, the Faculty has continuously expanded and improved the quality of education. Over the years, the Faculty has achieved a solid reputation thanks to its quality lecturers and training programs closely linked to practice, meeting the demand for quality human resources for society.
Air Transport Economics has a total of more than 20 lecturers, including 7 PhDs, 5 PhD students and more than 15 Masters with high knowledge, teaching and practical experience.
Air Transport Economics includes 4 specializations: Air Transport Economics; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Logistics and Multimodal Transport Management; International Trade.
The training program of the Aviation Economics Specialization of the Transport Economics major teaches students knowledge about business, operation and exploitation of airlines and airports. In addition, it provides students with an understanding of international regulations and development trends in the aviation industry in the period of international integration.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management Specialization in Transport Economics major is an important field. The training program teaches business activities in the process of creating products and delivering products to customers. Students studying this specialization will have knowledge of planning, organizing, implementing, controlling and optimizing logistics and supply chain activities in the context of globalization.
Logistics & Multimodal Transport Specialization in Transport Economics major provides knowledge about transport modes including road, rail, air, sea, and pipeline to optimize the process of transporting goods. The program also focuses on the application of technology and innovative solutions in Logistics management. Therefore, it helps students to be able to meet the requirements of the globalized transport market with high flexibility and efficiency.
International Trade Specialization in International Business major provides students with a theoretical and practical foundation in global business and trade. Students will learn about trade agreements, import and export management, international logistics, and global business strategy. The program also helps students develop skills in negotiation, risk management, and seizing opportunities in international markets.
