GREEN SUMMER 2026: VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY YOUTH INAUGURATE “NATIONAL FLAG ROAD” PROJECT IN TAN BIEN COMMUNE

As part of the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign in Tan Bien Commune, volunteer youth from the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA), in coordination with local authorities, held an inauguration ceremony for the “National Flag Road” youth project in Tan Bien Commune, Tay Ninh Province. The initiative carries practical significance, enhancing the rural landscape while spreading patriotism, national pride, and a commitment to preserving traditional values across the community.

The event was attended by distinguished delegates and institutional leaders.

Representing the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction was Comrade Nguyen Dieu Linh – Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction.

From the Vietnam Aviation Academy, attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu – Vice President of the Academy; Dr. Nguyen Thi Cam Le – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, President of the Academy’s Trade Union, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Phan Thanh Minh – Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, Dean of the Faculty of Aviation Operations; and Dr. Hoang Thi Kim Quy – Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.

Representing the Vietnam Aviation Academy were Assoc. The “National Flag Road” project was implemented to build model rural routes imbued with cultural identity, elevating rural aesthetics and establishing a key highlight in the New Rural Development movement. The national flags, uniformly and solemnly installed along the roads, not only beautify the local area but also kindle patriotism and love for the homeland among local citizens.

Speaking at the ceremony, leaders from both the Academy and the commune commended the project’s significance, acknowledging the proactive contributions of VAA youth to community service. The project stands as a testament to the pioneering spirit and creativity of youth union members and students, aligning volunteer activities with local realities to deliver long-term value.

During the ceremony, delegates performed the official ribbon-cutting to place the “National Flag Road” into operation. Rows of national flags fluttering in the breeze created a vibrant, solemn atmosphere, symbolizing patriotism, solidarity, and aspirations for regional development.

Spanning 5 kilometers with nearly 100 uniformly installed national flags, the project has bestowed an orderly, civilized appearance on the roadways of Tan Bien Commune. The fluttering flags enrich the local landscape while serving as a vivid emblem of national unity and patriotic pride. This enduring project reinforces revolutionary traditions, promotes the preservation of historical and cultural values, and underscores the commitment of VAA youth to partnering with local communities in rural modernization.

As the ceremony drew to a close, the flags continuing to flutter along the roads of Tan Bien Commune stood as an emblem of faith, aspiration, and unity. Each flag not only enhances the village scenery, but also reminds every youth union member of their responsibility to uphold the nation’s proud traditions, continuously learning, training, and dedicating themselves to the country’s development.
