Vietnam Aviation Academy Expands Financial Partnerships to Provide More Support for Students

Vietnam Aviation Academy and PVcomBank Sign Cooperation Agreement, Strengthening Connections Between Education and Finance
On August 18, 2026, the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) and Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank) signed a cooperation agreement, strengthening collaboration between the education and financial sectors. One of the key areas of cooperation is to explore financial products, policies, and solutions tailored to the needs of students, trainees, faculty, and staff of the Academy.
For VAA, the partnership with the bank goes beyond expanding payment and tuition collection services. It also aims to provide students with additional financial options when needed, including exploring suitable student loan solutions to help cover tuition, educational expenses, and essential costs throughout their studies.

Associate Professor Dr. Trần Hoài An, President of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, emphasized that support from businesses plays an important role in enhancing the quality of education and bringing students closer to the professional environment.
Under the agreement, PVcomBank will explore the development of financial products, interest rate policies, fee schedules, and preferential programs for the Academy’s faculty, staff, students, and trainees, tailored to different periods and needs. The two sides will also collaborate on initiatives related to scholarships, digital transformation, education and training, and partner networking.
The Academy aims to ensure that students do not have to choose between pursuing their education and coping with financial pressures. With access to additional appropriate support channels, students can manage their financial resources more proactively, focus on their studies, and successfully complete their academic programs.
Associate Professor Dr. Trần Hoài An noted that partnerships with businesses are essential to improving educational quality and providing learners with greater exposure to the professional world. VAA expects its cooperation with PVcomBank to deliver more practical benefits for faculty, staff, students, and trainees, while also creating opportunities for meaningful initiatives in training, digital transformation, and career development.

Ms. Nguyễn Thúy Hạnh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PVcomBank, speaks at the signing ceremony.
In addition to financial support, the Academy views expanding partnerships with businesses and organizations across society as an integral part of its strategy to build a comprehensive student support ecosystem. Students need more than a high-quality learning environment; they also need support in academic development, career orientation, internships, scholarships, digital transformation, and other essential resources to successfully complete their university journey.

The Academy will continue working with PVcomBank to translate the partnership into programs tailored to students’ practical needs.
Going forward, the Academy will continue collaborating with PVcomBank to turn the agreed areas of cooperation into practical programs that address the actual needs of students. Specific policies, eligibility requirements, and financial products available to students will be communicated once they have been jointly finalized and officially implemented by both parties.
