Vietnam Aviation Academy Holds 2026 New Staff Onboarding Program
On the afternoon of July 31, 2026, Vietnam Aviation Academy organized the 2026 New Staff Onboarding Program at Room A201. The program was designed to help new employees gain a better understanding of the Academy’s traditions, organizational structure, working environment, policies, benefits, and development orientation. It also provided an opportunity for new staff members to connect with the Academy’s leadership, colleagues, and professional units.

The program was attended by representatives of the Party Committee, the Academy’s Board of Directors, leaders of departments, faculties and centers, representatives of the Trade Union and Youth Union, as well as newly recruited staff members who had recently joined the Academy.
Welcoming New Members to the Vietnam Aviation Academy Community
The program began with welcoming musical performances, creating a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic atmosphere. Participants also watched a video introducing Vietnam Aviation Academy, which provided an overview of its history, organizational development, functions, responsibilities, and notable achievements in education, scientific research, and aviation workforce development.
A special highlight of the program was the introduction and performance of the Academy’s traditional song, “The Cradle of the Sky.” The song inspired a strong sense of pride, unity, and responsibility among participants. More than a meaningful musical work, it reflects the Academy’s traditions, aspirations, and mission to educate generations of highly qualified professionals for the development of Vietnam’s aviation industry.

Development Orientation and Long-Term Commitment
In his welcoming remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Hoai An, Director of Vietnam Aviation Academy, shared the Academy’s key development orientations for the coming period.
He emphasized that every staff member who joins the Academy does not merely take on a professional position, but also becomes part of a collective committed to education, scientific research, and community service. In the context of rapid changes in higher education and the aviation industry, staff members are expected to continuously learn, improve their working methods, strengthen the application of technology, and enhance their professional capabilities.

Associate Professor Dr. Tran Hoai An encouraged the new staff members to quickly adapt to the working environment, demonstrate responsibility and creativity, strengthen collaboration, and confidently propose valuable initiatives. He affirmed that the Academy’s leadership would continue to build a professional and equitable workplace while creating favorable conditions for each employee to develop their abilities and pursue long-term career growth.
Heartfelt Reflections from Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc My
One of the most touching moments of the program was the speech delivered by Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc My, representing the new staff members.

In her brief yet heartfelt remarks, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc My expressed her happiness and deep emotion upon officially becoming a member of Vietnam Aviation Academy. She shared that joining a new workplace naturally brings a sense of anticipation and unfamiliarity. However, the warm welcome and thoughtful guidance provided by the Academy’s leadership, colleagues, and relevant units helped the new employees feel supported and connected from their very first days.

She noted that working at the Academy represents not only a valuable professional opportunity, but also a responsibility to students, colleagues, and the institution’s overall development. On behalf of the new staff members, she expressed sincere gratitude to the Academy’s leadership and units for creating favorable conditions for them to become familiar with their responsibilities.
Her sincere and emotional reflections demonstrated the new staff members’ appreciation, positive spirit, and confidence as they began a new journey at Vietnam Aviation Academy.
Providing Practical Information for New Staff Members
As part of the program, the Department of Organization and Administration introduced important onboarding information, including the Academy’s organizational structure, workplace culture, administrative procedures, coordination mechanisms, and key contact points. These contents were intended to help new staff members carry out their duties more effectively and adapt quickly to the Academy’s working environment.
Representatives of the Academy’s Trade Union also presented information on employee support programs and welfare benefits. The presentation helped new staff members better understand their entitlements and responsibilities, as well as the Trade Union’s role in supporting employees’ material and spiritual well-being.

The program also included a question-and-answer session, allowing new employees to directly raise their concerns with representatives of the Department of Organization and Administration and other relevant units. Their questions were addressed clearly and specifically, helping them feel more confident and secure as they began their work at the Academy.
Building Connections Through Interactive Activities
The atmosphere became increasingly lively during a mini-game designed to review participants’ knowledge of the Academy and the information presented during the program. The questions were practical and engaging, allowing new staff members to reinforce their understanding while interacting with one another in an enjoyable setting.

Participants who demonstrated accurate knowledge, quick responses, and active engagement were selected to receive prizes. The activity brought laughter to the program and helped new colleagues become more familiar with one another from the beginning of their journey at the Academy.
At the end of the program, the Department of Organization and Administration presented welcome gifts to the new staff members. Although modest, the gifts reflected the Academy’s care, appreciation, and best wishes for each new employee as they began their professional journey.

The 2026 New Staff Onboarding Program concluded in a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a commemorative group photo. The event marked the beginning of a new journey of work, contribution, and professional growth for the Academy’s newest members.
With the support of the Academy’s leadership, representative organizations, and the entire staff community, the new employees are expected to integrate quickly, make full use of their abilities, and contribute to the continued development of Vietnam Aviation Academy as an increasingly professional, innovative, and sustainable institution.
