General Objective

The Bachelor of Finance technology (FinTech) program at the Vietnam Aviation Academy aims to train high-quality human resources with professional ethics, innovative thinking, and strong professional competence in the finance and technology sector. Students are equipped with an integrated knowledge base combining economics, finance, banking, and modern digital technology, meeting the demands of the digital economy in the context of increasingly advanced technology.

The program aims to comprehensively develop students' capabilities, including the ability to analyze, design, and implement finance technology solutions; skills in managing and operating digital financial systems; the ability to exploit and analyze data for decision-making; and the ability to adapt flexibly to the rapid changes in the global business environment.

Specific objectives

Knowledge

The training program provides foundational knowledge in economics, finance and banking, information technology, and related supplementary knowledge.
It also equips students with interdisciplinary knowledge in economics, finance and banking, management, and digital business models applied in the field of financial technology. Students will learn to analyze business processes, implement and manage technology projects; and apply these skills to areas such as electronic payments, multi-channel reconciliation, automation, and cash flow optimization in businesses in general and the aviation industry in particular.

Skills

Accurately perform data analysis operations and apply core digital technologies such as databases, programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain in solving financial problems in general and fintech in particular.
Develop capabilities in business analysis, design, integration, and deployment of FinTech solutions, and technology project management in enterprises, especially in the context of aviation and related services. Simultaneously, apply soft skills such as communication, presentation, negotiation, teamwork, and systematic analytical thinking; enhance the ability to work in a digital transformation environment.

Autonomy and Responsibility

Awareness of legal compliance and professional standards in the FinTech field; simultaneously developing self-learning, research, and adaptability skills in an integrated environment. Demonstrating professional responsibility and a sense of contribution to the community and society.
Promoting entrepreneurial and innovative capabilities in the FinTech field, aiming to create sustainable value for businesses and society.
